Antlers by Klaus began nearly 35 years ago in northwestern Wisconsin, founded by artist and whitetail enthusiast Klaus Lebrecht. While training under master taxidermist Joe Meder in Iowa, Klaus discovered antler replicas—and instantly found his calling. After years of refining his craft, the lifelike realism of his reproductions drew in major clients like Cabela’s, Bass Pro Shops, the NRA, and the

National Turkey Federation. Today, Klaus, his wife Nola, and their talented team handcraft every piece using only the highest-grade materials. Their work is featured in hundreds of books, magazines, catalogs, and digital publications—and is recognized as the world’s largest, finest, and most respected antler reproduction collection.

there is a tremendous amount of skill behind every Antlers by Klaus reproduction, and we feel incredibly fortunate to keep finding talented young artisans right here in our area who want to learn the craft and help carry it forward.

Meet Megan, one of the newest members of the Antlers by Klaus team.

Megan came to us with an existing artistic skill set that translated naturally into the detailed hand painting required to bring our replica antlers and horns to life. Matching natural color, depth, texture, and character takes patience, a good eye, and a steady hand, and Megan has quickly found her place in that process.

Her talents do not stop at painting. With experience in leatherworking and other hands-on crafts, she has already been able to lend her skills to other areas of the shop as well.

For us, this is about more than adding another talented person to the team. Seeing young craftspeople take an interest in traditional hands-on work gives us a great deal of confidence in the future of this craft. The tools and processes may continue to evolve, but skilled hands, attention to detail, and pride in the finished piece will always matter.

We are proud to have Megan on board and excited to see where her talents take her.

Some antlers are impressive because of their size. Others become unforgettable because of the animal and the story behind them.

This time, we are reaching into the Antlers by Klaus vault to take a closer look at Hook, a famous bull moose that became a familiar sight around Anchorage, Alaska.

For several seasons, Hook roamed the Anchorage area carrying massive, unmistakable racks with unique characteristics that helped earn him his nickname. Wildlife photographer and antler enthusiast Ryan Miller followed Hook closely, capturing hundreds of photographs and documenting this remarkable bull through the seasons. His patience eventually paid off when he was able to recover Hook's matching shed antlers.

One of Ryan's photographs even captured Hook resting in the heavy Anchorage snow shortly before he shed his first antler, preserving a remarkable moment in the story of this well-known Alaska bull.

Today, we are proud to have Hook represented in the Antlers by Klaus collection.

Our reproduction gives collectors the opportunity to bring home a piece inspired by one of Anchorage's most recognizable bull moose, recreated with the attention to shape, character, detail, and hand finishing that defines Antlers by Klaus. Each reproduction is custom crafted, hand cast, meticulously finished, and painted in our Wisconsin studio.

Take a closer look at World Record Hook Bull Moose on our website and place your order to add this extraordinary set to your own collection.

If it looks like our 3D printing room has changed since the last time we showed it to you, that is because it has.

A lot.

The growth of our 3D printing capabilities at Waters by Klaus and Antlers by Klaus has been one of the most exciting developments happening behind the scenes. Since our last look inside this part of the operation, we have added considerably more printers to help us keep pace with the growing demand for our products.

For Waters by Klaus, 3D printing has opened the door to an entirely new level of production capability for detailed fish reproductions and other aquatic replicas. It allows us to combine modern digital technology with the same commitment to accuracy, realism, and craftsmanship that has always driven our work.

That same technology has also created exciting opportunities for Antlers by Klaus. By accurately scaling some of the world's finest and most recognizable antlers, we can offer miniature and scaled antler reproductions quickly and easily. For collectors who may not have the room for a full-size reproduction, these smaller pieces make it possible to build a collection of legendary antlers without requiring a trophy room to display them.

And what you see here is only the beginning.

With a new building on the horizon, our current plan is to expand the number of 3D printers we operate by roughly four times our present capacity. That added capability will help us increase production, continue developing new products, and better keep up with the surging demand we are seeing across both brands.

It has been incredible watching this area grow, but even more exciting to think about what comes next.

NEW ARRIVAL! Elsenheimer Maine 8 Point Record

We are excited to add another great 8 point to the Antlers by Klaus collection!

Tim Elsenheimer had been watching this Maine buck for years, and it kept his attention for one big reason, it always produced a very clean 8 point rack. As the years went by, that crown of 8 just kept getting bigger!

Tim had his chances along the way. In 2020, a late opportunity with his muzzleloader ended in a miss. In 2022, he finally had the buck within bow range, but made the decision not to force a bad shot.

Then came the 2023 season.

Tim caught up with the buck again while it was feeding underneath an apple tree. He grunted, and the buck responded by coming closer. Tim took aim with his crossbow and missed!

Fortunately, the story wasn't over.

The buck stopped again. Tim reloaded, settled in for another shot, and this time connected at 42 yards. After years of faithfully following this deer, it had finally all come together!

And what a buck to finally put his hands on.

The Elsenheimer buck carries an incredible clean 8 point frame and scores 177 1/8" net, making it the Maine state record 8 point.

For those of you who appreciate the really big, clean 8 pointers, this is a rack you're going to want to take a closer look at.

The Elsenheimer Maine 8 Pt Record reproduction is now available from Antlers by Klaus.

How big are Irish Elk Antlers?

Even this scaled reproduction gives you an idea of just how impressive these animals were. The original Irish Elk, also known as the Giant Deer, was one of the largest deer species ever to live, with antlers that could exceed 12 feet in spread.

This Irish Elk replica is made at scale, making it much easier to display while still capturing the character and presence of this remarkable extinct species. We do offer full-size reproductions as well, but scaled pieces are often the better fit for collectors, decorators, and anyone who wants something truly different without needing an entire wall.

For the antler enthusiast, this is more than an unusual piece. It is a conversation starter, a statement piece, and a keystone for a collection built around remarkable specimens.

Some whitetails earn a place in history. The John Breen Buck is one of them.

This is one way to display our John Breen Miniature, finished as a full bust and paired with a granite base. But like many pieces from Antlers by Klaus, you can make it your own.

Choose your miniature with or without a granite base, in a full bust or Euro style, and in 1/3 or 1/4 scale. From there, choose a fully painted finish for a lifelike appearance or go with a classic bronzed look.

Every miniature is 3D printed and hand finished right here in our Wisconsin studio by the same team behind our full-size reproductions. We put the same attention into the form, character, and finishing whether the piece is headed for a full trophy room or a spot on your desk.

These miniature whitetail reproductions are a great option for collectors and deer hunting enthusiasts who want to build a collection without needing the space for multiple full-size reproductions. They also make a distinctive statement piece for an office, shelf, end table, cabin, or trophy room.

And if the buck you want to see in miniature is your own, we can help with that too. We offer custom deer miniatures created from your trophy. Contact our team at [email protected] to talk through your project.

A Kansas legend is one of our featured August specials.

For the month of August, save $700 on the legendary Bath Sheds from Antlers by Klaus.

The story of these extraordinary sheds began in northeast Kansas when Jim Bath’s dog returned home carrying one side of what would become one of the most memorable sets of whitetail sheds in our collection. After the matching side was located, the full scale of this incredible deer became clear.

🦌 314 3/4" Non-Typical
🦌 Massive main frame
🦌 Additional tines and sticker points
🦌 Remarkable side-to-side symmetry
🦌 Known as the “Original Kansas King”

And despite intensive efforts to locate the buck that carried them, no confirmed harvest was ever reported. Another true phantom of the woods.

At Antlers by Klaus, we recreate this piece of whitetail history through a meticulously finished and painted reproduction made to preserve the character, mass, and presence of the original antlers.

If the Bath Sheds have been on your wish list, August is the time to add this Kansas legend to your trophy room, lodge, cabin, or collection.
