🐾 Fun Fact Thursday: Did you know dogs sweat through their paws?

While we sweat all over to stay cool, our pups rely on panting and the tiny sweat glands in their paw pads! 👟💦

Not only does this help them cool down on warm days, but it also gives them a little extra traction and grip on slick surfaces—like your hardwood floors. And just like us, their paws can get a little sweaty when they are feeling excited or nervous!

Keeping your pup’s paws safe, happy, and walking on the right surfaces is what I do best. Whether they need a mid-day stroll or a drop-in check-in, I’ve got you covered!

🐾 Hello everyone, and welcome to my pet-sitting page! 🐾

My name is Paige, and I’m excited to start offering overnight pet sitting and house sitting services in my community!

I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) and currently work at a veterinary hospital, where I get to work with and care for animals every day. My veterinary experience has helped me become comfortable handling different breeds and species and caring for pets with different needs.

I already have pet-sitting experience within my neighborhood, and I’m hoping to grow my experience and expand my services to more families in the area.

I’m local to Palm Harbor and am also happy to travel to surrounding areas to help take care of your pets while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they stay in their own home. ❤️

Happy milestone day to my longest furry client, Beau! 🥳🐾✨

He reached an amazing milestone today—he actually started following me around the house! It might sound like a silly milestone, but it is a HUGE step for this handsome guy!
If you’ve seen my previous posts, you know Beau is a super shy boy because of his past. On our very first visit, I felt lucky that he even came out to eat his meal while I was there.

Ever since, we’ve been patiently building our bond, and my heart is so full seeing that all the love and patience is truly making a difference! 🥹💖

It’s always my top priority to ensure every single pet I care for trusts me just as much as they trust their own parents. This small step is an incredibly huge win for me, for Beau, and for all of my current and future clients! 🏡✨

When guinea pigs are exceptionally happy and excited, they perform a signature move called "popcorning"! They literally bounce straight up into the air, twisting and turning like little pieces of popcorn popping in a pan. 🍿💨

Behind-the-Scenes: Extreme Cage Makeover Edition! ✨
Ever wonder what a day in the life of your pet sitter looks like?
Today, it’s all about construction, creativity, and a whole lot of cute. 🐹🦔
We are doing a cage remodel for two of my favorite VIP clients: Autumn my Guinea Pig and Winnie my Hedgehog!
Here is how the project is shaping up…Autumn’s Condo: We are upgrading her tunnel space, fluffing up fresh fleece liners, and setting up a brand-new wall to give her that private condo feel.
Winnie’s Oasis: Hedgies love a good workout, so we are freshening up his wheel, making sure his box has clean bedding, upgrading to extra fuzzy blankets, and last but not least a new wall to make his oasis feel like a private getaway.
I’ve had a lot of time to make their layout perfect and I really think this is the one!!
