Looking for a way to make a difference this weekend? Come out to Meineke Car Care Center this Saturday, September 5th, starting at 10:00 AM to meet some incredible, adoptable pups from SPCA Suncoast!

Whether your vehicle needs some routine maintenance or you are looking to expand your family, you can help us save lives. For every oil change performed during the event, Meineke is generously donating $2 directly to SPCA Suncoast. Adoption isn't the only way to make an impact. We rely heavily on the support of our community to care for the pets currently in our shelter and those yet to arrive.

If you can't adopt, please consider bringing an item from our wishlist. We are in constant need of food, toys, laundry detergent, bleach, and monetary donations. Check out the attached list of our most-used items!

🐻‍❄️ POLAR BEAR PUPPIES ARE COMING… AND WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🐻‍❄️🤍
Sweet Elsa, our 94-pound Great Pyrenees mix, recently came into our care — and she brought along a BIG surprise. 🥰
Elsa is pregnant! 🍼🐾
This gentle giant is one of the sweetest girls you could ever meet, and we just know she is going to be an amazing mama. But according to what we're expecting, Elsa could be welcoming 7–10 fluffy little “polar bear” puppies in the next 3–4 weeks! 😳🐻‍❄️🐻‍❄️🐻‍❄️
That means we have some serious baby-prepping to do!
We’ve updated our Amazon Wish List with additional items specifically for Elsa and her soon-to-arrive babies. From keeping Mama comfortable to helping us care for a whole pile of tiny, hungry, fluffy puppies, we need our amazing supporters behind us. ❤️

Meet Chad. This little fella has been through a lot. He finally finished his heartworm treatment and is ready for his forever family. Come meet this silly ham! He may take a minute to warm up, but belly rubs always win over fear 🐾❤️ we are open Saturday 12-4p. Hope to see you!

Disappointing update on Kitty Cabana. We have to close Kitty Cabana until further notice. We appear to have ringworm in the building. For our cats safety and health and for our visitors and potential adopters we felt this was the safest action. Please keep an eye on our FB page and our website. We will happily let everyone know when kitties are available.

If there were an award for “Spoiling Shelter Friends,” Ahsoka, Revan, and their amazing humans would definitely be in the running! ❤️🐾

They stopped by loaded down with food, puppy toys, leashes, harnesses, brand-new dog beds, bowls, and so many other goodies for our shelter pets. We think they may have needed a moving truck! 🚚😂

Seeing Ahsoka and Revan thriving in the loving home they were always meant to have filled our hearts. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Our mission for them is complete—they found the perfect home with the perfect people, and now they’re paying that love forward to animals still waiting for their own happy ending.

From all of us at SPCA Suncoast, thank you for your incredible generosity, your kindness, and for continuing to be part of our shelter family. Your support means the world to us—and to every wagging tail and grateful heart you’ll help along the way. ❤️

Our Puppies are 6 weeks old today. Girlfriend is 5.5lbs. The little fellas are 3.8lbs. We can see who the eater is. They are eating canned food, working on weaning them from momma. They are so much fun! Playing, adventurous and loving little rascals!

Still waiting on the Doberman people. Rex is still here waiting for his forever home. The guy loves to play and then come in and snuggle and watch Lifetime movies. Come and meet our boy!!!! He’s pretty great and makes it easy to fall in love!

Reba’s puppies opened their eyes yesterday!!! They are really ready for the world now!

Bubba boy is here to remind you that we will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, to let our team enjoy time with their family and friends and more likely help keep their own fur pups safe, comfy and stress free!
