NGSPA NACH 9x CH Macke’s Jimbob × Cuttin Coveys Creating Chaos

Dam- is a 200–500 yard chukar dog. Put her in a Milo field and she’ll quarter it and stay within 100. She’s been pointing, backing, and retrieving to hand since she was 4 months old & one of the most natural dogs I’ve ever had. Awesome personality, great in the house, and she saves her energy for when she’s working. You hardly notice her in the kennel and often find her tucked into her chair at the house. You’d never know she’s a big-running dog. She is hunted 100+ days a year on my guide string from the Montana prairie to rough country South Texas.

Sire - Jim Bob is an extremely talented bird dog. He is a NGSPA National Amateur Champion 9X NGSPA Champion, along with earning the title of NGSPA Open Shooting Dog of the Year for 2025. Jim is a superior field trial dog, as well as a phenomenal wild bird dog. Jim bob is handled by Dan DiMambro and will be a national contender year after year.

We have 2 female puppies available from this breeding and will be picky where they end up. We prefer competition homes, but serious hunting homes will be considered. Puppies are due to go home this upcoming week 9/5-9/13. We have a dog hauler lined up and is hauling some of this litter all over the country. So we can arrange that.

We’ve got some new faces around here, so it’s time for a quick reintroduction! 👋🏼🐾

We’re Cuttin Coveys Kennel, and bird dogs aren’t just what we do—they’re our way of life.

We raise, train, hunt, guide, and compete with bird dogs across the country. Our dogs spend their seasons gaining experience on wild birds and big country, from the prairies of Montana to the chukar hills of Idaho and Oregon and down to South Texas bobwhite country.

Our program ranges from puppy development and young-dog training to finished broke-dog work, NAVHDA prep, field trialing, and wild bird development. Our goal is simple: build confident, cooperative bird dogs that are a pleasure to hunt behind.

We believe there’s no substitute for birds, miles, and experience. The dogs in our program learn to handle different terrain, species, and hunting situations while developing into the steady, polished bird dogs we expect in the field.

Our new pointer “Flo” got to run in front of a horse for the first time today. Pretty happy with how she’s handling all of the new things being thrown at her lately. She’s eager to learn, happy, & runs and goes with me for now! I like her.
