Beautiful horse farm located in the Hudson Valley. Fantastic lesson program with availability 7 days a week. We attend several USEF recognized horse shows including HITS Ocala, HITS Saugerties, HITS Culpeper, Vermont Summer Festival and Garden State Horse Show to name a few. Our students have had great success at several local and national finals as well. We offer boarding with great care. Staff memebers are always on the property!

*** Mustang Gentling Summer Camp for Kids ***

Our Mustang Seminars and clinics have been for adults only, but this summer we will host our first ever c**t starting camp for children ages 8 and up. We will have hands on demonstrations in our new Gentling Lab where students will learn how to use consent-based training techniques. Students will work with our newly arrived mustang yearlings and adults. The curriculum will differentiate between principles of natural horsemanship, positive reinforcement, operant vs classical conditioning, and the use of different equipment and strategies.

This camp will run in weekly sessions: 8/3 - 8/7 and 8/10 - 8/14
Cost: $450/week

WE HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS for 2026!!!

Horse First is bringing wild horses to New York State! It has always been our goal to find loving placements for the American Mustangs. Please check us out at Yankee Folly Mustang Adoption Center. We will be posting individual profiles and arrival dates soon.

We are thrilled to partner with Forever Branded and their wonderful team. Thank you to Bureau of Land Management-Eastern States for supporting our program and making this possible.
