New Orleans Animal Welfare Society NOAWS was formed to educate the public about living with animals and to rescue and rehabilitate animals in need. What is going on in your neighbor's yard?

NOAWS will be a resource center, a place you can call for help with stray pets, neglect and abuse cases. Our goal is to bring awareness and accountability to those in charge here in the city New Orleans. We will hold their feet to the fire so that the animals we try to help may find justice somewhere down the line. NOAWS would like to empower residents to stand up in their neighborhoods and take charge. You should care, you should call. The animals need your voice.
