ADOPTION ALERT! 🚨🐾🚨🐾
MidCity Vet rescued this gorgeous girl we are calling Lilith after she was hit by a car near our clinic!
She is a happy, healthy, lovely girl now, looking for her forever home. ABOUT LILITH~
Weighing in at 43lbs, Lilly is a spayed, female, lab/doberman mix. She is affectionate, playful, active, & friendly! We estimate she is around 2yrs old. She is not reactive to loud noises or busy places. She does well with strangers, children, & other dogs, but she has a prey-drive, so she needs a home with no cats or other small pets. She loves rolling around inside & outside, puzzle feeders, running, giving kisses, & cuddling!
She needs some leash & potty training. She does well with a gentle lead, which helps with her struggles pulling while on-leash & jumping with excitement.
Overall, we think she is a great dog who would make a great addition to any dog-only household looking for a new fur baby. 💓💓

Who Said Fireworks?
Is your dog as worried about fireworks as you are about the well being of your country?
Well then the patriotic thing to do is stock up on your pets anxiety meds before the celebrations get “popping”
MidCity vet will be closed this Saturday the 4th.
Operating hours like normal Friday and Monday 8-6!

Posting again because this season is Crazy! There are so many caterpillars!

IT'S CATERPILLAR SEASON.
& y'all have been calling.

So, we wanted to share some general tips directly from our veterinarians if your baby steps on a buck moth caterpillar.

*For the most part, pets will bounce back with nothing! It's usually only painful for a few minutes for them.*
- Use scotch tape to remove any spines. Dab the tape on the area.
-Run some cool water over the paw. Dry the area. Apply hydrocortisone cream. BUT make sure your baby doesn't lick that cream. You can put a cone on them or take them on a short walk until the cream has soaked in.

If the pain does not subside within an hour, or you see substantial swelling, please don't hesitate to reach out to us by phone or email!

‼️📢Attention Midcity! There have been a few instances of Dog attacks in the area. The dog has been Identified as a Brindle Pitt-Bull. The authorities have been contacted but be vigilant and stay safe! ‼️
