We’re looking for compassionate, reliable individuals to help care for the pets in our shelter. If you love animals and want to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you!

Kennel Attendant (Full-Time)

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize dog kennels and cat rooms
Feed and provide basic care
Administer medications as directed
Assist with adoptions, including meeting with potential adopters
Review adoption applications
Answer and return phone calls
Transport to veterinary appointments
Support general shelter operations

Requirements:

Comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be available to work some weekends and holidays
Typical workday is 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Must be willing to work in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, and heat

La Bu Bu was adopted!

La Bu bu is a 1 yr old, spayed female. She is a very friendly girl who enjoys human interaction. She is a curious girl, and loves to explore. She is very talkative and likes to know what everyone's up to. She is very affectionate with those she meets. La bu bu can be selective with other cats. So she may do well in a home as the only cat.

Meet Winnie!

Winnie is a 3 year old spayed female cat. She is a laid back and curious girl. Winnie likes to lay in fluffy beds and people watch. Winnie is a very calm cat, and likes to go with the flow. She is affectionate with new people she meets, and is quite social. Winnie would be a great new friend for a nice cozy home.

Meet Phoebe!

Phoebe is a 2 year old spayed female cat. Pheobe is a friendly girl who loves to meow her heart away. Pheobe is quite social, but she can be a bit picky when it comes to other cats. She prefers her alone time, and likes to lounge. Pheobe is a sweetheart that would do well in a loving home!

Azula is an affectionate and gentle spayed 6 year old lab/shepherd mix who was surrendered alongside another dog, Zuko, when her former owners could no longer care for her. She's the sweetest dog you could ask for, always happy to snuggle on the couch or roll over for belly rubs. She loves to play with toys, but she settles down nicely after playtime and while she enjoys taking walks and running around in the yard, she also enjoys curling up on the couch or in her bed for a nap. She gets along well with other dogs and would be a great companion for a family with children.

We've got parakeets to place! Our birds are chirpy, chatty and so entertaining! They love millet and hanging out on their perches. We are looking to place in pairs.
