🐾 SNEAK PEEK: DOUGLAS & SKEETER 🐾

Some of you may remember these two little bottle babies… and let us tell you, a whole lot of love, pass-around baby duty, constant care and around-the-clock feedings have gone into getting Douglas & Skeeter to where they are today. 🥹❤️

They won’t officially be available for adoption for at least another two weeks — BUT our secret Waggin’ & Wheels adoption special will still apply when they’re ready for their PURR-ever homes. 👀🤫

And Saturday, you can meet them at the WCAS Hub!

🐱 Douglas — our independent little explorer. He’s got places to go, things to investigate and absolutely no time for your nonsense.

🐱 Skeeter — a REAL momma’s boy with quite possibly the fastest tiny feet we have ever seen… and he is NOT afraid to show them off. 😂💨

His philosophy on mealtime?

“No, I am NOT eating that. I WILL play in it, wear some of it, sprint through it with my lightning-fast baby feet… and then give me my nummies while I wrap my tiny paws around my bottle and completely melt your heart.” 🍼🥹❤️

These two have been loved HARD from the very beginning — now we can’t wait to see who eventually gets to love them forever.

Our gratitude for Just One More - The North End Pub and especially Susie and Craig, runs deep.

The long hours. The texts, calls, meetings, paperwork, inspections, ideas, donations and constant behind-the-scenes work — all while building a new business in Wetzel County and choosing to step up for this community and for shelter animals still waiting on their FURever homes.

We know how much of yourselves you pour into what you do every single day, and we know the sacrifices that come with it.

We see you. We appreciate you. And we are incredibly grateful to have you beside us.

Okay y’all… here’s the lowdown on The Branded Arrow Cattle Company & Boutique🐮🤎

Getting Fancy & June to Waggin’ & Wheels was a big decision for these ladies.

They are making a three-hour trip ONE WAY to be with us Saturday while their family is also navigating a major illness — and that makes their willingness to still show up, support this event, and bring a little extra joy to our day mean even more.

So when we say show them some love Saturday… we mean it. ❤️

Fancy & June will be ready for snuggles and photos from 11 AM–2 PM!
If there is still a busy line, they will do their best to stay until 3 PM, but PLEASE plan to come early if fluffy cow snuggles are high on your list.

Another HUGE shoutout to our amazing partners at Gump’s Septic & Portable Gump's Septic & Portable Restrooms s! 🐾💙

Their family stepped up and donated ALL of the portable restrooms and handwashing stations for Waggin’ & Wheels Festival of Food Trucks, Music, and much more... happening Saturday, September 12 at the Wetzel County 4-H Grounds!

Maybe it isn’t the most glamorous part of putting on a festival 😂 — but let’s be real, it is definitely one of the MOST necessary! And when we asked, they didn’t hesitate. And they are the best around!

What makes it even more special is knowing this support comes from a family and team who truly love animals and believe in what we are working so hard to accomplish for the animals of Wetzel County. That kind of partnership means everything to us.

Chuckie, CeeJae, your family and your entire staff — THANK YOU! Your generosity took a huge expense off our plate and helped us put even more focus where it belongs — on adoption awareness, education, community outreach and the animals waiting for their FURever homes.

We’re here for a great day, a safe day, and a great cause — raising awareness and funds for WCAS animals still waiting for their FURever homes. 🐾❤️

For some, that perfect Saturday means their fur friend, great music, good friends, college football games, local businesses and a cold b**r or glass of w**e. If that’s not your thing, we’ve got you covered too — dirty sodas, mocktails, refreshers, water, sodas AND fresh-squeezed lemonade!
