With school back in session and everyone’s schedules getting back in order, we’ve been a little quiet over here. ❤️

Once we get settled into our new routine, we’ll be back to our normal posts, lessons, horses, and all the fun happening around the barn!

Until then, let’s take this Labor Day weekend to slow down, rest, and remember the men and women who served and sacrificed for our freedom. 🇺🇸❤️

If you get the chance, take a trip out to Showboat Park in Chesaning to see the moving Vietnam Memorial Wall. It’s truly something special and a beautiful way to honor those who served.

Take a little time to remember, reflect, and be thankful. 🇺🇸❤️

Our barn is a place where we enjoy slowing down, spending time with our horses, and creating a welcoming environment for both horses and their people.

School has officially started for most of our kids, and I know this past week has left many of them exhausted. But watching them walk through that barn door, tired from a long day, and still choose to give their horse that hour… that means more than they probably realize. ❤️

As their instructor, I’m so incredibly proud of every single one of them. Not because every ride is perfect, but because they keep showing up. They keep trying. They keep learning. And they keep giving their horses the best version of themselves, even on the days when they’re tired and would rather be anywhere else.

There’s something so special about watching a child grow alongside a horse. Year after year, you see the confidence, patience, responsibility, and love grow right before your eyes. And honestly, as a horse mom and instructor, those moments are the ones that make my heart the fullest.

These horses are teaching them lessons that go far beyond the arena. They’re teaching them how to be patient, how to work through frustration, how to trust, how to fall and get back up, and most importantly… how to love something enough to keep showing up for it.

I’m so thankful I get to witness their journey. Watching these kids grow with their horses is one of the greatest gifts this life has given me. ❤️
