🐴 TOP HAND COWGIRL CHALLENGE – CANNON FALLS, MN! 🤠❤️

Boy oh boy, where do we even begin?! What an incredible experience at the Top Hand Cowgirl Challenge in Cannon Falls, Minnesota!

Bree took two of our personal horses that she started herself, Annie and Rex, and let us tell you, they did NOTHING but impress us! These two horses are truly one of a kind, and watching them go out there, give their all, and show just how far they’ve come was something special. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing all those hours in the saddle and hard work pay off! ❤️

We also couldn’t be more proud of our boarder Emersyn and her horse Jenga! This was Emersyn’s first BIG show, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park, bringing home 3RD OVERALL IN THE YOUTH DIVISION! 🏆👏

It just goes to show what determination, dedication, and countless hours of hard work can accomplish. Watching her confidence grow and seeing everything come together was truly amazing. She’s already looking forward to coming back next year, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two!

We want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped put on such an incredible show! And an especially big thank you to Breck Kruger with Kruger Performance Horses! Breck is truly one of the kindest, most gentle people you’ll meet. The welcoming, encouraging, and positive atmosphere created for every rider and horse is something you don’t find everywhere. Giving people a place to show their horses, learn, grow, and build confidence means more than words can say. ❤️

If you’ve ever thought about trying the Top Hand Cowgirl Challenge but haven’t taken the leap yet, DO IT! We 10/10 recommend this event! Whether you’re just starting out or have been riding for years, it’s an experience you won’t regret!

At the end of the day, it’s not just about placings, ribbons, or winning. It’s about the horses, the friendships, the lessons learned, and the memories made along the way.

With all that being said, we are beyond proud of our horses, but even MORE proud of the riders who put their hearts into them. ❤️🐴

Here’s to hard work, good horses, great people, and many more adventures ahead!

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from BC Performance Horses! 🇺🇸

Labor Day is a good reminder of just how much work goes into doing what we love. Around here, there really isn’t much of an “off day” when you have horses. Feeding, cleaning stalls, riding, training, hauling, doctoring, and everything in between — it’s a 365-day-a-year job. 🐴

We’re incredibly thankful for the opportunity to work with so many great horses and even better people. We’re proud of the progress our horses and clients have made and excited for everything still to come!

So today, while everyone enjoys a little extra time off, we’ll be doing what we love — taking care of horses and putting in the work. 💪🏼

From our family to yours, Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

✨ Piper | BC Performance Horses ✨

We’re pretty excited to have Piper here in training! Piper was bred and raised by some great friends of ours at Yellow Bank Ranch, who later sold her to her current owners.

Piper came to us as a bit of a clean slate, which makes this opportunity even more special. It’s such a privilege to be trusted with one of the colts that a good friend bred and raised, and to have the opportunity to help shape her into the phenomenal horse she has the potential to become.

There’s something really rewarding about watching a horse grow and develop from the ground up, especially when you know the people behind her have put so much thought and care into breeding and raising her. 🤎

We’re so thankful to her current owners for trusting BC Performance Horses with Piper, and we’re excited to see what the future holds for this beautiful girl!

We can’t wait to watch Piper grow into something phenomenal! 🐴✨

Big man is back to work after a long breeding season.

This is how you know you have a good foundation to your horses training. He bred mares for the past 4 months and now is back to riding and this is how he rode on his first day back. We couldn’t be more thankful for Jimmy to be our stallion with a bright future ahead of him!

Yellow — Palomino Draft Cross Gelding

💛 YELLOW IS LOOKING FOR HIS NEXT PARTNER! 💛

Yellow is a 15-year-old grade Draft Cross palomino gelding, standing approximately 15.2–15.3 hands. He has had some time off and is currently with us for a tune-up and refresher before heading on to his next home.

Yellow is a very forward-moving horse, so we feel he would be best suited for an intermediate rider who is comfortable with a horse that likes to move out.

We think Yellow would make a great trail horse, fun riding partner, or all-around riding horse for the right person. He is getting back into the swing of things and will be ready for his next partner!

📍 Located at BC Performance Horses — New London, Minnesota
