Many know Ernie as this big, lovable, goofy teddy bear! This guy has been apart of the farm family 10+ years. He's brought so much kindness, lots of giggles and therapy to many.

He's been in the show ring most of his life and for what he has given to others he deserves a peaceful gateway to heaven

We will honor Ernie tomorrow at the farm. During this time the farm will remain closed until Sunday

22 years I've rescued many animals of all kinds. I did this with my father who taught me so much about rescue. He taught me to put my needs second and the animal first.

He taught me there will be great times, proud moments and moments that will tear your heart out but keep going. There will be late nights and lonely nights caring for wounds and whatever other sickness comes along

I've built my dream on this farm and along the way I've made many friends, lost some friends and learned so much from each and every horse

I continue the journey with amazing people by my side. I'm grateful for the support and I'm sorry for those who can't quite understand my priorities or demands for their care and this farm but we're growing into opportunities that help the horses to feel safe and rescue humans who can't quite cope with life

So the opportunities continue for the horses! Officer White paid us a visit to evaluate the farm for the Ashland County Court system to offer a volunteer program for young adults to put community services hours in at the farm! Once a month we will get 4-5 youths. God has a plan!
