Hello, my fellow feline fans! It’s me, Basil, your favorite clinic cat, reporting once again from my cozy cat bed.

I know, I know… it’s been a while since my last bulletin. What can I say? I’ve been extremely busy with important cat business. There have been windows to supervise, boxes to inspect, and of course, plenty of quality time spent reminding the humans who is really in charge around here. But I’ve finally managed to squeeze some writing time into my very busy schedule because we have BIG news to share!

One of our patients has officially made HISTORY!

Meet Erebus, a four-month-old Maine C**n kitten with a very special claim to fame: he has broken a Guinness World Record for the most toes on a cat!

And just how many fabulous little toes does this tiny superstar have?

29. TOES. 😳

That’s right. Twenty-nine! I’ve counted on my own paws several times. Erebus is what we call a polydactyl cat, meaning he has extra toes. Everyone here at the clinic is incredibly excited to celebrate Erebus and his amazing achievement. He’s proof that sometimes being a little different makes you extraordinary. We’re growing again! 🤍🐾

As Walker Family Veterinary Hospital continues to grow, we’re looking to add another Customer Service Representative to our family.

Our CSRs are such an important part of what we do. They’re often the first person our clients talk to, the friendly face that greets them when they walk through the door, and the ones helping keep things moving behind the scenes on even the busiest days.

We’re hoping to find someone who is kind, dependable, organized, and genuinely enjoys helping both people and their pets. At least 1 year of medical experience is preferred.

More than anything, we’re looking for someone who will fit in well with our family and wants to grow with us. ❤️

We’re so excited to see donations starting to come in for the Waupaca County & Fox Valley Humane Association Donation Drive! ❤️

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference for the animals in need. Some of the items currently needed include:
-Dry dog food
-Dry cat food
-Canned dog & cat food
-Kitty litter
-Laundry detergent
-Paper towels
-Bed sheets

🎉🎂 Happy Birthday, Lizzy! 🎂🎉

If you’ve been around the clinic, you’ve probably heard Lizzy whistling Christmas songs… no matter what month it is. 🎄😂 It’s just one of the many things that makes her, well… Lizzy!

This birthday is extra special because she recently passed her National Veterinary Technician Exam (VTNE) and is officially one of our newest Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs)! 🩺🐾 We couldn’t be more proud of all the hard work and dedication she’s put in to reach this milestone.

Join us in wishing Lizzy a very happy birthday and a huge congratulations on this incredible accomplishment! We’re so lucky to have you on our team and can’t wait to see what you do next. 💙🎉
