When you think of Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus), "brain fog" and "focus" are probably the first things that come to mind. But science is uncovering another side to this fuzzy white mushroom, and it starts in your gut.

A study published in the Journal of Food Science put the beta-glucans (a type of soluble fiber) from lion’s mane, reishi, and oyster mushrooms head-to-head against oats, long considered the "gold standard" for blood sugar and metabolic support.
