🍁 Happy (Almost) Thanksgiving! 🦃
Before the feasting begins, here’s your reminder to keep your pets’ tummies happy and out of the ER!

SAFE to share in small amounts:
✔️ Plain turkey (no skin, no bones)
✔️ Steamed green beans
✔️ Plain pumpkin (not pie filling)
✔️ Carrots
✔️ Apple slices (no seeds)

NOT SAFE for pets:
❌ Turkey skin, bones, or gravy
❌ Stuffing (onions, garlic, spices)
❌ Rich, fatty foods
❌ Chocolate, baked goods, or xylitol
❌ Grapes or raisins
❌ Alcohol

🩺 Fun fact (or not-so-fun for vets!):
The day after Thanksgiving is one of the busiest days of the year for vomiting, diarrhea, and pancreatitis cases—most caused by well-meaning food sharing.

Truth: Many dogs just like the taste or texture of grass! Occasional nibbling is normal. But if your dog is eating a lot of grass or vomiting afterward, it may be a sign of tummy trouble.
