As the Summer hits full force ​we have just installed a brand-new smart thermostat system that gives us 24/7 monitoring and control right from our phones.

​What this means for your pup:
​Instant Alerts: If the temperature shifts even a few degrees outside of our ideal comfort zone, we are notified immediately.

​Power Failure Backup: The system alerts us instantly if it loses connection, meaning we will know right away if there is a power outage or equipment failure—even if we are away from the building.

​Redundancy: While we love our existing monitoring tools, we know technology can have spotty signal moments. Adding this hardwired system ensures we have minimal blind spots when it comes to the climate inside.

​We know it’s hard to leave your furry family members, but we want you to rest easy knowing that we are constantly investing in redundant safety measures to keep them safe, cool, and comfortable.

Early this morning we lost a good one. Kiera was a dog full of life. Spunky, social and full throttle in what she did. She has helped raise Blake and Blane making a hell of an imprint in their hearts for dogs. She taught me a ton and helped me through sone tough times in life.

Kiera I imported from Czech not really knowing what I was doing. As risky as it was it was a wonderful decision. She was everything we hoped she would be and more. She served the perfect role for the stage of life we were at.

This is still very fresh for us. She was her normal self up until late lastnight when she fell weak. It appears she had a bleed internally. Unfortunately she was defeated very early this morning but not until she was able to see Blake just one more time. His first time getting to actually say good bye and support and comfort one of these losses. I am proud of him and how he handled it.

Thank you Kiera for being so good to the kids. For being everything I needed this last decade. I hope you can rest easy with our Axel man.

Some dog reactivity reps with Mr Rex. He is not tolerant of dogs and his choice of reaction when he sees them is to shoot forward and bark bark bark. He is making great strides!

Autumn Jackson joins WVU Tech from New Kent, Virginia, where she competed at New Kent High School. She will add depth to the outfield for the Golden Bears while majoring in Pre-Veterinary.
