💙 Meet adoptable Neka 💙 She is the kind of dog who bonds deeply with her people. Once you’re hers, you’re her person — and she wants nothing more than to spend time with you. She loves long walks, playing in the kiddie pool, going on adventures, and staying close to the people she loves. She gets incredibly excited and happy when someone comes to visit her.
Her story is full of heartbreak and a lack of resources. Because of what she has experienced, Neka learned to be protective of high-value food items. She will need to be crated or separated when eating, but with the right person, patience, consistency, and understanding, we believe she can continue to improve.
But please don’t let that be the only thing you see when you look at Neka.
Because underneath all of that is a big softie who desperately wants to be loved. 🥰
She is dog friendly and would be best with older kids who understand how to respect her space around food.
We know Neka is going to need a very special adopter. Someone who will understand that her past shaped her, but it doesn’t have to define her future.
Someone who will meet her, look into those eyes, and simply say:
“That’s my girl.” 🥹
We know that person is out there. Someone who will give her a fresh start!
And until they find her, we won’t stop looking for them.
Neka deserves a family. She deserves adventures, a soft place to land, and someone who will love her for all that she is.
