Iberia Animal Clinic When you visit Iberia Animal Clinic, you’re met with more than a skilled medical team — you’re welcomed by people who truly care.

At Iberia Animal Clinic, we’re more than just a veterinary clinic—we’re a family caring for yours. As New Iberia’s only urgent care and walk-in veterinary clinic, we proudly serve our local community with kindness, honesty, and a deep commitment to quality care. Whether you live in New Iberia or nearby cities like Jeanerette, Loreauville, Youngsville, Lafayette, Baldwin, St. Martinville, Abbeville, Delcambre, Erath, Parks, or Breaux Bridge, our doors are open to you and your four-legged companions. We believe that veterinary care should be accessible, compassionate, and personalized. That’s why we’ve created an environment where pet parents can count on trusted guidance and gentle treatment—without the stress of long waits or unnecessary barriers.

🐾❤️ OVER 20 YEARS OF DEDICATION, COMPASSION, AND HEART! ❤️🐾

I want to recognize someone very special — Blake Melancon, our incredible Head Veterinary Technician/ office manager

Blake has dedicated over 20 years to veterinary medicine, and I’ve been fortunate enough to work alongside him for the past 16 years.

We’ve shared laughter, tears, stressful emergencies, heartbreaking moments, and memories I’ll always cherish.

Veterinary medicine takes a special kind of heart, and Blake has given so much of his to the animals, their families, and our clinic.

After 16 years of working together, you’re more than just coworkers — you’re family. ❤️

Blake, I hope you know how loved and appreciated you are. Your dedication, compassion, and hard work have touched so many lives.

Our clinic wouldn’t be the same without you, and I’m grateful our paths crossed all those years ago. ❤️🐾.

Shorter days mean more New Iberia walks happening after sunset. 🌙🐕 Reflective collars, leashes, harnesses, or small safety lights can make your dog easier to spot along neighborhood streets and roads.

A little extra visibility can go a long way when you’re squeezing in that evening walk after work.

Before your pet joins you for fall yard cleanup, take a quick look around. 🍂🐶 Fertilizers, pesticides, sharp tools, compost piles, and moldy plant material can all create problems for curious pets.

Keep yard products and equipment secured, and clear away anything your pet might decide deserves a taste test.

It’s National Veterinary Technician Week, and we’re celebrating the team members who do so much behind the scenes and beside our patients every day. 💙🐾

From comforting nervous pets to assisting with treatments and keeping busy days moving, our vet techs bring skill, patience, and heart to everything they do. Thank you for all that you do!

Every pet has range. What’s your pet’s biggest green flag AND their most questionable red flag? 👀
