Happy Friday everyone! We promise new things in the new year, and here is where we are heading. We are currently gearing up to get into the aquatic market. We currently have two pairs of angelfish that are spawning regularly. They haven't quite learned the ropes on raising the fry yet, but they are trying. If you are into fish, various snail species, or live aquatic plants, that is the direction we are currently heading. We are going to give our fishy friends the same care and top-notch quality we did as a reptile breeder. It will take some time to set up accounts and vendors for aquatic supplies, but we plan on possibly being fully operational at least online by March. We feel as though we can offer high quality aquatic species cheaper than the big box stores. The pricing it looks as though we will get from vendors will definitely put us lower than your petco's and petsmarts. We are in no way, shape, or form going to try to compete with any other local aquatic store in the area. If anything, we are going to work with them to make us both successful. To do this, I am going to offer brands that other local stores do not. Let's say local shop a carries fluval items. I will in turn carry seachem items. If that same shot carries hygger lights, I will carry aquaneat lights. I'm going to let customers decide who they will shop with based on brand preference and shop choice. Not pricing. I do not want to create competition between local shops.
