“Lyric” is an 8yr old, 14.3hh, very stocky built, grade QH mare. If you are looking for a quiet, safe, simple and honest horse who is the same horse every ride, here she is. You’d never guess that she is a mare. Lyric is very kind and sweet, and safe for anyone. From babysitting her rider on the trails to having fun in the ring, here is a horse for the whole family and a complete package!

In the barn, Lyric has no bad habits. She can live in, or out and gets along well in the pasture with other horses. She is easy to catch and has good ground manners. She is an easy keeper with no maintenance or supplements, simple diet and can live out 24/7. She stalls well too. Lyric stands straight tied or cross tied and loves being groomed and receiving attention. She is safe for absolutely anyone to work with and around. She stands to be groomed, bathed, tacked, etc. This girl is sooo easy to have around and I can trust she will be gentle with whoever is handling her. Lyric loads and trailers like a dream, and ties to the trailer to get ready. She is good for the vet and farrier and has no health or lameness issues.

Lyric is an awesome trail partner. Husband horse safe and will pack around a beginner all day long without putting a foot wrong. She crosses absolutely anything, scary bridges to rushing water. She is not spooky. Safe with dogs, bikes, strollers, wildlife, traffic, you name it. She will ride anywhere in the group and will follow right along through thick and thin on a loose rein. I would put my mother on this horse and trust that she would be safe. Lyric neck reins and makes every ride enjoyable.

Lyric rides western, english and ba****ck. She has nice gaits and she is comfortable. Again, this girl is extremely simple to ride. Yet knows enough to entertain an advanced rider. She has both western and english buttons, and is never in a hurry to get anywhere. Lyric will pivot, side pass, back up, move off of leg and listens to voice commands. But don’t worry, she is not a sensitive ride and does not get upset with beginners or unbalanced riders. She would work well in a lesson program. Lyric will walk, trot, canter and knows her leads. She will ride collected or on the buckle. Lyric has been recently introduced to fences and took right to it! She enjoys jumping and shows a great amount of potential in that direction. Lyric doesn’t mind tarps or flags and will kick a ball around.

This sweet horse has a little bit of something, for everyone! She would make a great family horse. Lyric is safe, versatile and ready to be a forever addition to your family! Shipping can be arranged anywhere!!

Who is looking for a trail partner? Nova is a 14yr old, 15.2hh, Perch/Standardbred mare who is looking to score a loving home and be someone’s trail partner. She will play in the ring but trails are her thing. She is as simple as they come, never asks for anything, gentle to work around, not spooky, loads and trailers like a dream. Going to be getting a full ad together for her soon but wanted to put her out here in case someone is ready now. She’s 100% sound with no health issues.

Make me an offer!!!!!!! 🐎🐎🐎🐎

“Suddenly Intoxicated” aka “Bacardi” is a 7yr old, 15.2hh, AQHA Gelding. He is double registered with APHA too, but I am waiting for APHA to mail me a duplicate as APHA papers were lost. This is a handsome, charming young man, who is a fun all around dude! He absolutely loves trail riding, and turns heads everywhere he goes. He is full of personality, and sired by a stallion named “Intoxication”.

Bacardi can live in or out. He is an easy keeper, with no maintenance. He can stay out 24/7 happily or be stalled. He is quiet in his stall and never asks for anything. He will pin his ears at grain feeding time like a mare but has never offered anything of it. You can go in his stall to fill his water, clean, fill hay net, etc. He is on and off lovey, some days he strives for attention and other days he would rather just be left alone. He has a unique personality and that is just who he is. On his lovey days he lovesss being loved on, and receiving attention!
He stands on the cross ties to be bathed, groomed, tacked, etc. Some days while tacking he will make mare faces, and someone days not. Again, he is unique in his own way and perhaps not for everyone. He is safe to work around, and doesn’t mind my dogs running past him on the cross ties. He comes up to you in the pasture for scratches and to be caught. He waits at the gate in the mornings for me and lets out a good morning whinnie when he sees me. He gets along very well in a mixed herd, and is also totally fine with living alone. He is an independent horse and doesn’t rely on buddies.

Bacardi is an amazing, laid back, easy going trail horse. He is safe and reliable and always up for a good adventure!!! Bacardi will lead, follow, go out alone and in groups. He hacks out alone very quietly. He crosses water, rocks, logs, and other trail obstacles. He is not spooky and rides around on a loopy rein the whole time. You can ask him to move out and lope through a field then drop right back down to a quiet walk. He doesn’t care if the group leaves him behind. Bacardi is the same horse every ride, if he sits for weeks you can tack up and go ride with no silly business. He is the type of horse that you could throw your husband on and let him follow behind and trust that he will be taken care of. Bacardi would make an amazing camping partner as well. He is the same horse at new parks every time.

Bacardi has been shown in his younger years, as well as recently with me at cow sorting and team penning nights. He is a quiet boy in the cow pens and could pack around someone who is just starting. He enjoys going out and doing fun things and fun shows. He is quiet in the chaotic show environments.

Bacardi rides western, english and ba****ck. He has smoooooth gaits, western pleasure type gaits. He is soft in your hands and more whoa than go. A push ride but with spurs will move out when asked. He doesn’t have a preference on western vs english and a total go with the flow type of guy. He will go around as slow and lazy as you let him yet go to work when asked. While he is geared slower with pleasure type gaits, he can lengthen his canter out pretty nicely, and did so in the team penning.

In the ring, Bacardi will walk, jog, trot, lope, cater, and knows his leads. He has a great whoa button, and backs up nicely. He will move off of leg, pivot, side pass, and he neck reins. All of his buttons are slow and user friendly. He is never in a hurry to get anywhere. Bacardi LOVES to jump! He is soft and honest to fences and cross country jumps. He does not get strong or forward and has plenty of scope. I love popping on him ba****ck and going to have fun. His jump is gentle and easy to sit. And he literally jumps anything that you point him at. Bacardi is still learning and green in the ring over all. He has a very smart brain, and learns quickly. He will ride on the buckle or collected, but his collection does need some work as he doesn’t always hold it. You can ask for slow jog, cluck and extend and then sit and come back to that slow jog. He is very knowledgeable, just needs to finishing touches in the ring. I could see this boy going many different directions from ranch riding classes to hunter jumper. He has tons of potential and I absolutely adore him. I really appreciate that he is the same horse every ride whether he sits for weeks or not. He is at a great age where he can grow and learn with his new partner yet has some miles under his belt.

Bacardi is up to date on dental, coggins, farrier, and worming, he will be due for spring shots. I will pay for a health certificate for shipping. He is good for the vet and pretty good for the farrier. He is currently wearing only front shoes and he came to me barefoot. He was tender barefoot this winter so I had four shoes put on and he was good for the farrier but did move a little when he put hind shoes on. Now I just have front shoes, hind trim, and he is great for the farrier. I don’t think he has ever had hind shoes on before coming to me. He doesn’t need them so I didn’t put them on coming into spring. The first time I loaded Bacardi into my trailer he stood for a minute before loading but once he rode in it he loaded up just fine, and loads fine in it now. He ties to the side of the trailer patiently to get ready. Bacardi does have baby warts on his nose that do not bother him, but they are there, vet said they will go away with time, and to let them be.

Bacardi is Bacardi. He is a unique, fun, gelding with an all around ability in different disciplines. The type of home that I would like to see him land, is a home where he will get to trail ride aside from ring work. He has lots of potential to head deeper into the show world, but he is a horse that deserves to have fun as well. He is happier when he gets to go out and do fun things and isn’t drilled in the arena. He is going to make someone very happy, and he is SUCH an easy horse to have around, he literally never asks for anything. He may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but he sure can check a lot of boxes. I have his AQHA papers in hand and a signed transfer, but his previous owner did not give me APHA. I connected with his breeder and he is for sure double reg, and I have a signed APHA transfer, and a letter into APHA to file for duplicate, but I do not have apha papers in hand at this moment, so his buyer will have to be patient and understanding of this.
If you are looking for an amazing trail partner, someone to play with in the ring, a horse to just have fun with, here is your boy. Please feel free to reach out for further information! Shipping can be arranged anywhere !

05/26/2026

“Stoick” is a 7yr old, 16.3hh, Percheron/QH cross gelding. I am not even sure where to begin, but I will start by saying, I will be extremely jealous of the lucky person who gets to keep this guy forever. This is one of the most unique draft crosses that I have ever owned. From his regal presence, to his almost “human” like personality…. Stoick is truly here to be your best friend. Not only is he extremely friendly, caring, and in your pocket, he has a very calming “vibe” about him, he is very therapeutic to be around. Some days I just go in his stall with him and hang out. He will place his huge head into your arms and lift your spirits. If you have been searching for a true, forever best friend, your search is over, here he is.

Stoick is the perfect combination of his breeding. He is a large bodied horse, with thick legs and nice hooves. But he is not a clunky drafty guy. He is uphill, athletic, and agile on his feet. Making him eligible for many different disciplines. I have never loved riding a draft cross as much as I love riding Stoick. His intuitive brain, athleticism, and ability to keep you safe, all packaged into a tall, dark, handsome and charming fellow.

In the barn, Stoick has zero bad habits or vices. He is quiet in his stall, and never asks for anything. He will hang his head out and take a nap, or ask for pets. He is a babysitter in the pasture and gets along with everyone. He is the first one to greet you in the pasture or at the gate and nuzzle your arm if you are holding a lead rope as if he is saying “let’s go do something together!” Stoick will stand around on the cross ties all day long to be groomed, clipped, braided, tacked, bathed, etc. He will nuzzle you and put his head in your arms any chance he gets. When I am grooming a horse, or braiding a horses tail by his stall door he will try to get my attention, “me next please!”. He is extremely docile and gentle to work around. He is gentle with kids, and beginners, and has wonderful ground manners. He is safe with dogs running around his feet and playing around him. Stoick is a good boy for the farrier and the vet. He loads and trailers very well, and fits into my regular size horse trailer. He will back off or turn around to unload. You can tie him to the trailer to get ready to go and he will always stand patiently.

Go hit the trails and have fun. Stoick will keep you safe. He will go up, over, under, through, absolutely ANYTHING that you ask. I have almost never ridden such an agreeable, try it, okay I will do this for you type of horse. You ask, he goes. I absolutely LOVE hitting the trails with Stoick, he is relaxing, reliable, safe, and brave the whole ride. I have asked Stoick to do some pretty sketchy things and he has never told me no. From mountain climbing, to swimming, crossing scary bridges, going down steep banks, jumping logs along the way, Stoick is always going to get you to the other side in one piece. You can trot and lope him through the fields or along the lakeside then go right back to leisure walk. He will lead your group through the thick and thin without even blinking an eye. Stoick will ride out with a lengthy walk with faster horses or knock it down and go nice and slow with slower horses and ponies. He just knows. Stoick will lead, follow, go out in groups and alone. He is independent and happy to ride alone, or leave the group. Whether you go out for 15 min or 4 hours, he is ears forward and happy to go on an adventure. Stoick is 100% traffic safe, safe with bikes, dogs, hikers, deer, snakes, trains, turkeys, you name it. Enjoy your ride, and dismount grinning ear to ear!

Stoick rides western, english and ba****ck. He has smooth, adjustable gaits, and a lofty, extremely comfortable canter. He is soft in your hands and a very simple ride. He is the type of horse that could pack around your husband, kids, friends, then go to work for you. He is very smart and can tell when his rider is a beginner or not. He gentles down his gaits and aids and doesn’t get upset if his rider is off balance etc. Stoick can certainly take a joke, and he is just happy to be involved. He is the perfect combo of whoa and go, pokey as long as you want, but goes to work when asked. He is very intelligent and learns SUPER fast. He enjoys pleasing his rider and he does not get upset when asked to try new things! Stoick is happy to work in the ring or hack out, he doesn’t mind either way! Stoick is the same horse every ride. If he sits, you can tack him right up and go ride. He does not offer any silly business. He does not need to be in a routine. And he is the same horse off property, in fact, he treats new places like he has lived there forever. He is the horse that you can jump on ba****ck in a halter and lead rope and go for an evening stroll around the farm. He is also the horse that your kids can climb on and go play with, knowing that they will be taken care of.

In the ring, Stoick will walk, jog, trot, and canter. He moves nicely off of your leg and will ride off of your seat, and listens to voice commands. Stoick will move laterally, side pass, pivot, neck rein, back up, you can ask for a quick stop or bring him down slowly through his gaits. He listens right away to the word “whoa”. You can ask him to do a western jog, or extend his trot and move out. He is the type of horse that almost just feels “custom” when you are riding him, like he can feel your thoughts. Stoick is learning the mechanics to a lead change and has offered several lead changes. His transitions are very smooth. Stoick will pop over fences, logs, cross country jumps. He is honest and straight forward, and does not get strong while jumping. You can jump, then drop right back down to a nice walk, in the ring or on the trails. Stoick will ride on the buckle or collected. Ask him to drop his head for a nice western head set, or push him up into an english “frame”. Stoick is flexible, he rides light for his size, which is really nice. Stoick is naturally balanced and he makes you feel very secure.

Stoick is the type of horse that everyone is looking for. If my personal draft cross was any closer to retirement, Stoick would not be going anywhere. It is extremely hard to find all of his qualities put into a healthy, sound, gelding that is easy on the eyes. A horse that genuinely wants to be apart of your life, that wants to be your pal, that wants to keep you safe, wants to make you smile. Everyone that meets him, loves him.

Stoick is an easy keeper with no maintenance or supplements. He has a very simple diet and never asks for anything. He can go barefoot or wear shoes. He currently has front shoes on for trail riding, he has dark, solid hooves. He has no health or soundness issues. He can live out on pasture. He is very very easy to have around and requires nothing.

This might be the only time that I offer this horse, I fall more and more in love with him everyday. He is going to make his next partner extremely happy. I have been very blessed with my time with Stoick. He is currently set up to head in absolutely any direction. You don’t find a horse like him everyday. I have lots of photos of this boy and I will attach a link to a photo album. If you are looking for a true partner, do not miss out on Stoick. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for any further information. Shipping can be arranged anywhere. I would love to have the ability to stay in touch with Stoick’s future owner.

Stoick is only available again due to nonpayment. Here is your second chance to own such a special horse.
