As many of you know, our amazing groomer Toni rescued a dog from clients who were going to surrender him at 16 years old to the pound, she wasn’t going to let him live his final days in a shelter feeling abandoned. Little did she know all of that love she had to give him, also gave him FOUR more amazing years. Now this post is bittersweet, because on September 4th, we all were able to come together and celebrate Toto mcgoates “goatz Malone” turn 20, and it was such a magical day! We visited all the local watering holes and the people all welcomed him with open arms! It was almost like he knew he had to make it for us, so we could have that day with him, as dogs often seem to know what we need even better than we do. So he did, and we will cherish it always. We are grateful to Camacho Garage , New West Cafe and Delaneys Tap Room for helping us celebrate and for the complimentary “cocktails” 🐾 It was a day we will never forget. But today Goatz told us it was time that he go and be with all of his friends on the other side, especially Bridgette, Kirby and Smokey. He told us it was ok and we needn’t be sad. So we will smile and remember all the great memories! Thanks to Vet Associates of Westville for all the care you gave our boy and to Toni Toni for letting us be a part of his world!
