Dog waste is more than just something nasty to step in. It can carry bacteria, parasites, and germs that can spread around the yard, especially where kids play, dogs run, or people walk barefoot.
A few reasons keeping the yard cleaned up matters:
Parasites can be a real issue.
Dog waste can carry things like roundworms and hookworms. Even after the pile starts breaking down, the yard can still be exposed to stuff you don’t want your family or pets around.
It can attract flies and bugs.
The longer waste sits, the more it can bring in flies and other pests. Nobody wants their backyard turning into a bug hangout.
It does not “just fertilize the grass.”
Dog p**p is not like cow manure. It can be too strong for the yard and may actually burn grass or leave ugly spots.
Rain can spread it around.
When dog waste sits in the yard, rain can wash bacteria and nutrients into low spots, sidewalks, ditches, storm drains, and nearby water areas.
It makes the yard less usable.
Kids playing, mowing, walking the dog, grilling, or just hanging outside gets a lot less fun when you’re dodging landmines.
Regular cleanup keeps it from piling up.
A quick weekly cleanup is a lot easier than waiting until it becomes a big nasty job.
That’s where we come in.
Mid MO Pooper Scooper keeps your yard cleaner, safer, and a whole lot easier to enjoy.
