It’s only the middle of October, and I’m already booking lessons well into November! 🥹

I am incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to trust me with their horsemanship journey. Watching my clients grow in their confidence, skills, and partnerships with their horses is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do!

October ended up with a waitlist for lesson openings, and November is filling up quickly! If you’ve been thinking about scheduling a lesson, whether you’re a current client or someone looking to take the next step in your horsemanship, please don’t wait to reach out!

I will also have ONE training spot available beginning in mid-November!

If you’ve been considering training for your horse, now is a great time to start the conversation. My programs are individualized to each horse, with an emphasis on building a solid foundation, developing confidence, and creating lasting results.

Every day is another opportunity to become a little better than I was yesterday.

Not every step forward is big. Not every accomplishment is something the world gets to see. And not every lesson comes from success.

But I believe the small things matter. The quiet work, the lessons learned, the willingness to keep growing, and the courage to chase something bigger.

I have a vision for where I want to go, but I’m learning to appreciate everything the journey is teaching me along the way.

Because sometimes the greatest accomplishment isn’t just reaching the goal. It’s becoming the person capable of achieving it.

Sometimes we get so caught up in the responsibilities, the expectations, the endless to-do lists, and chasing the next goal that we forget to enjoy the life we’re working so hard to build.

There’s always going to be another horse to ride, another goal to reach, another problem to solve, and something else that needs our attention.

But there won’t always be another tomorrow.

Take the ride. Enjoy the little moments. Make the memories. Spend time with the people and horses you love.

Work hard for the life you want, but don’t forget to enjoy the life you have along the way. ❤️

What would you love to accomplish with your horse in 2027?

Maybe you want to feel more confident, improve your communication, prepare for competition, explore Western Dressage, spend more time on the trails, or simply become more consistent in your horsemanship.

Whatever your goals may be, meaningful progress begins with a clear and realistic plan.

Join us at SKM Equine Services for brunch and a guided goal-setting workshop created specifically for riders and horse owners.

During this two-hour workshop, we will:

• Recognize the progress you and your horse made during 2026
• Define what success genuinely looks like for your partnership
• Choose goals that fit both you and the horse you have today
• Separate the final goal from the skills and habits needed to reach it
• Create a practical 90-day action plan
• Identify possible barriers and prepare for them
• Determine what coaching, training, and accountability will support your progress

Your goals do not need to involve showing or competition. This workshop is for anyone who wants to approach the coming year with greater purpose, clarity, and intention.

Each participant will receive guided workshop materials and a personal goal-planning workbook to take home.

This event is open to current SKM clients, along with a limited number of riders interested in learning more about our coaching and training philosophy.

Current SKM clients: $25
Non-clients: $50
