Are you an experienced rider looking for a horse to lease? We have two boys offered at half lease here at our farm in New Durham, NH.

Oscar: 4 year old Percheron/Morgan/Canadian cross. He has way more whoa then go but he wi wtc around the ring and is looking for a partner to continue putting miles on him. He was born here at the farm and will stay here for life. Needs an intermediate rider as he is only 4 yo and 16+ hands and 1350lbs. He’s a good boy but he’s still learning at his age. We have only started him in lines for driving so he is not available for driving at this time.

Theo: 4 year old Belgian/Morgan/Standardbred cross. Theo has been shown all year in green horse classes and won the majority of his classes. He’s carried the flag for the national anthem and has had a great deal of riding under his belt including trail riding, riding alone on the road and in-hand classes at show. He’s even been to the beach and had a dead beginner on his back with a lien and he was a doll. He does wtc but still working on transitions into the canter. He needs an intermediate rider as he is only 4 15.2hh and 1200lbs. But he’s a fun dude to ride and honest. His current leaser has gotten busy in life and is unable to ride as much as she was over the summer.

Our half leases are on farm only with options to potentially show if you chose. $350 a month includes up to 3 riding days a week. Lessons can be added to the lease. Working lease could be an option for the right person. Full leases can also be an option for those looking. We have trails on property and an outdoor only arena. Serious inquiries PM us for more information.
Oscar is the larger bay with no rider in the photos while Theo is in the photos with the rider. Can provide more details and photos to serious inquiries.

Sorry we have had such radio silence for so long. It’s been a long few months.

We lost our main man Mulligan back on May 31. It has been a hard struggle to learn a life without him. We owned him for almost 16 years. He was the center of our lesson program and carried riders from dead beginners to advance riders. He could do it all. The trust I had in him and him in I was unmatchable with any of our horses. He took care of every rider. He was my knight in shining armor. I miss him so much. The barn isn’t the same without him.

Our rescue, Ziggy, is doing well. Gaining weight and now muscling. He’s really done great learning to accept riders and take them around the ring. We are still working out a few kinks but he’s such a great boy. Pushy like typical haffies are but just an all around character.

Caesar and I did a few shows together. Him and I have a long way to go on getting to know each other but he is such a love bug and makes you laugh all the time. He’s like having a giant puppy dog.

If you haven’t been to the barn recently then you’ve missed the birth of Banana’s foal. It wasn’t the black filly I told her I requested. Nope. She gave me a chestnut c**t. We named him Vinny. He’s a smart little man and is growing like a w**d.

We will work on not being so absent from sharing our horse adventures with everyone.
