🐾 The Peekaboo family truly has the BEST pet parents! 🐾
Today, I received the sweetest basket of toys and treats from a wonderful client who gave me the privilege of being part of her dogs’ lives for their whole life. 🥹

As much as we both miss them with all our hearts, I’m beyond thankful for the incredible gift of having known them, loved them, and been part of their journey. Some furbabies leave paw prints on our hearts that never fade, and they will always hold a special place in mine. 💕

The toys and treats will be shared with all my Peekaboo furbabies until they’re gone! So your babies will get to enjoy a little something special, too.
And last week, another wonderful client brought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers from her own garden. 💐🌸 Such a thoughtful gesture that truly made my day!
It’s the little acts of kindness that mean so much. After all these years, I’m reminded that grooming isn't just about caring for dogs; it’s about the incredible people and the special bonds that come with them.
To all my Peekaboo families, thank you for your kindness, your thoughtfulness, and for allowing me to love your furbabies as if they were my own. I appreciate you more than you know! ❤️🐶🐾

🐾🛁 Just like people, one shampoo does NOT work for everyone! ❤️
Some of our furbabies struggle with dandruff, greasy skin, itching, and other skin issues. That’s why it’s important to use the right products for each individual dog.
Lately, when I text to remind you of your upcoming appointment, I may ask you to arrive 15 minutes early. This gives me extra time to apply the appropriate shampoo and let it sit longer so it can better address your dog’s specific skin needs.
💕 And the best part? This will NEVER be an upcharge!
I believe grooming is about so much more than making your dog look good. It’s about their comfort, health, and overall well-being.
Thank you for trusting me with your precious furbabies! 🐾💕

🐾 I LOVE when dogs know the routine! “I know you want this paw first… and then this one!” They know exactly what comes next! ❤️ Nothing better than a furbaby who knows the grooming routine by heart! 🛁✂️💕

A little reminder from your groomer! 🐾✂️
This groom took me ONE FULL HOUR just to remove all the mats before I could even begin the actual haircut! In my 22 years of grooming, I have never had a pre-shave take me that long.
When regular grooming is missed, it takes a toll on everyone involved — most importantly, the dog. Severe matting can pull painfully on the skin, restrict movement, and make grooming a much more stressful experience for your fur baby. It also takes a toll on my equipment (I’m already down 3 blades from this groom!) and on me physically.
Please understand that when you go a long time between grooming appointments, the time, work, and cost of grooming can increase significantly. Removing severe matting is not the same as maintaining a regularly groomed coat. It takes extra time, patience, and wear and tear on equipment.
I love what I do, and I want every fur baby to be comfortable, healthy, and looking their best. ❤️ But regular grooming is about more than just looks — it’s about your dog’s comfort and well-being.
Please keep up with your grooming appointments. Your fur baby, your groomer, and those grooming blades will thank you! 🐶❤️✂️
