๐บ๐ธ 4TH OF JULY PET SAFETY REMINDER AND HOLIDAY HOURS ๐บ๐ธ
๐พ While fireworks and celebrations are exciting for us, they can be absolutely terrifying for our four-legged family members!
๐ฅMore pets get lost on the 4th of July than any other day of the year. To make sure your furry friends stay safe, calm, and secure at home, follow these quick tips!
๐ก Bring Them Inside: Keep pets safely indoors before the fireworks begin. Never leave them outside, even in an enclosed yard.
๐ Double Check: Secure all windows, doors, and gates to prevent them from bolting if startled.
๐ชช Update Info: Make sure your pets are microchipped and wearing collars with up-to-date ID tags. **Microchips with lifetime registration are available at the office for $45.
๐บ Mask the Noise: Turn on the TV or play calming music/sound machines to drown out the loud booms.
๐ Consider using an over the counter calming medication like "Composure Pro" or call us to see if any other recommendations could help your pet.
๐ Grilling out or having a get together? Make sure to keep unsafe items including harmful food and drinks away from your pets.
๐ฅต It is going to be a hot weekend. Make sure your pet can get out of the heat and has plenty of fresh water available at all times.
A little preparation goes a long way. Let's work together to make this a safe and happy holiday for everyone in the neighborhood! โค๏ธ
