DOG DAY CARE - BOARDING - PRODUCTS Your dog can play for the day and/or stay for the night, 'just like home'. We offer a safe, green clean environment.

At Core Pet Zone we are cage free with small play groups to provide plenty of personal time for every doggie. Guest's are separated by both size and play style to ensure a safe and fun time. We do have crates if the family prefers to use them for quiet time, as this can help with training. Good manners are encouraged throughout the day, we also have SNACKS, all of this at no extra charge to you. At Core Pet Zone we want to aid in having your dog live a long, happy and healthy life. We believe good food, exercise and love is the core to good health. We have a retail area and we strive to find quality products and supplies both local and USA made, along with competitive pricing. Please call to set up a tour of our facility so we can fit it into the schedule for that day. We don't want to disrupt the dogs' schedule that are here to play.

Dog of the week is…Lizzie!!!
Lizzie is a 11-year-old chocolate lab who has learned what she wants and is not afraid to ask.
Lizzie is quite the unique gal, in her younger years she loved to jump straight in the air but as she’s gotten older she’ll still give a little hop every once in a while to let us know she’s still got it. But Lizzie’s most impressive talent has to be making herself as small as possible. We have big beds that she can stretch out on but she willingly chooses the smallest bed possible and curls herself up with her paws hanging off.
The current theory is she does this to look the absolute cutest so she can get more pets because there’s nothing she loves more than pets.
Except for treats.
But who can truly say?
Lizzie is living her best life when she boards: endless pets (she especially likes a good chin rub), treat times throughout the day, and people who simply can’t handle her cuteness. What could be better?NOTHING. According to Lizzie. 🐶

Dogs of the week are… Ellie and Sophie!!!

Ellie and Sophie are two Samoyeds with BIG personalities to match their big coats.
Ellie is a little bit older than Sophie at 6, but as a professional sprinter and toy enthusiast, she knows how to keep busy and keep everybody on their toes (or paw pads). Ellie loves to zoom around the grass yards. It’s quite a scene to behold her white fluff blowing through the wind with her legs barely visible. But once she’s tired herself out, she’s not ready to go back inside. She needs to sunbathe!
Once inside, Ellie likes to do everything in her power to get others to play. This includes but is not limited to: going up to others and doing random play bows till they’re up and playing, barking, rolling around on beds, and showing toys to others till they’re interested.
Sophie is 5 years old, and this girl loves to play too, but she is also in desperate need of attention. Sophie will often start playing and then remember that there are people nearby who MUST pet her. Once she realizes this, she will call a break to her play to come over and get some much-deserved pets. But once she’s had her fill, she’s back to playing with her sister or anybody else she deems worthy of a mouth full of fur.
These two are always on the move, and we love having their energetic, fluffy selves at CPZ!

Dog of the week is Heidi!!!!

Heidi is a 4-year-old Shepherd mix with a TON of energy and no plans on slowing down anytime soon. Not only is Heidi energetic, but she is also soooooo friendly. This outgoing gal will make friends with any dog or human in her vicinity. Everyone is her best friend!
When Heidi’s not busy making new friends, she can be found showing off toys she caught to other dogs and even us! She’ll proudly parade them around, but she’s DEFINITELY not fetching the toy again. ESPECIALLY when we keep dropping it! - sorry Heidi, our mistake…
She is also well known for her alligator chomps with an accompanying bark to get others’ attention; it always works. She doesn’t just chomp the air though; she also loves to chomp on bubbles!

Be aware!! If you get within 5 feet of Heidi, she might lick you to death. She loves giving kisses to EVERYBODY (dogs and humans); she just wants to show you how much she cares!❤️

Heidi is such a sweet, silly, energetic girl, and we love having her spend her endless energy playing at CPZ!

Dog of the week is Indy!!!

Indy is a 6-year-old Shepherd mix who is the perfect combination of sweet, energetic, and goofiness. As soon as Indy gets in a room she really knows how to let her energy out.

Indy LOVES zooming around the grass yards, even if nobody’s chasing her. She’s in her own world, and when Indy decides she wants to run, she’s going to run.
After zoomies outside she likes to come inside and take a quick 10 minute break. Often consisting of her sprawled out on a couch, looking absolutely ADORABLE. As soon as we acknowledge her cuteness she’s on her back, showing her perdy teeth, waiting for a belly rub. Of course we oblige! But once she’s decided she’s had enough pets she’s back up again playing with pups or toys.

We love having this sweet goofball join us at CPZ!!

We're back with Dog of the Week... This weeks dog of the week is Addie!!!

Addie is a young and agile 3-year-old Blue Heeler who loves nothing more than playing. It's hard to pick one activity that she enjoys the most because she LOVES them all. But here are a few; games of chase (she's REALLY fast), water chomping, pool zoomies (like jump in, spin around a bunch, and zoom out), chomping on bubbles, and playing fetch. Addie is always making friends because she's more than happy to join anybody in absolutely ANY game. Addie is also sooooo good at tricks and she loves to show them off whenever possible, even if it's not treat time. Though Addie loves to play she also has a cuddly side and she will never turn down a chance to be in your lap or get pets.
