🎄✨ Help Us Fill Santa’s Toy Shoppe! 🎅🐾

Christmas is just around the corner, and we’re so excited to partner with our local CRRC of Canyon Lake to help bring a little extra holiday magic to local children! ❤️

The North Pole Village is getting ready for the season, and we’re helping stock Santa’s Toy Shoppe with cuddly new friends for kids to choose from when they visit Santa.

We now have a Stuffie Donation Station in our lobby! If you’d like to help, please consider donating a NEW, unwrapped stuffed animal (stuffie). Every donation will help a local child experience the magic of meeting Santa and picking out their very own plush toy to take home.

📍 Drop off your new stuffies at CanyonVet Canyon Lake
🧸 NEW stuffies only, please
❤️ Help us fill the Toy Shoppe and spread some holiday cheer!

Let’s come together as a community and make this Christmas a little more magical for local kids!

🚨 Screwworm Awareness for Pet Owners 🚨

The New World Screwworm is a type of fly larva that can infest wounds and damaged skin in pets. While not currently a widespread issue in our area, it’s important to know what to watch for.

🐾 Check your pet for:
• Open wounds that aren’t healing normally
• Unusual swelling or drainage
• A foul odor from a wound
• Visible larvae (maggots)

🛡️ Prevention Tips:
• Keep wounds clean and monitored
• Check surgical sites daily
• Use veterinarian-recommended parasite prevention
• Contact your veterinarian if you notice any concerns

Early detection and treatment are key. If you have questions about a wound or parasite prevention, we’re happy to help! Give us a call at 830-632-6075.
