In Loving Memory of Our Matriarch, Sasha

Sasha was peacefully laid to rest here at the farm on August 27th. She was surrounded by her beloved pack when she departed, and that means more to us—and to her pack—than words can express.

Sasha single-handedly and profoundly changed our farm in countless ways for the better over the years. Little did we know when she first came to us that her strong, feisty, playful, and confident presence would so beautifully mirror the natural ways of wolves in the wild, despite having been domesticated her entire life.

She was truly the heart and matriarch of her pack. Her teachings of respect, unity, compassion, and togetherness live on through every member of her pack. Because of Sasha, they are confident, loving, helpful, and playfully sweet with one another. Watching her guide them was a true blessing. If a pup was being inappropriate, it often took nothing more than one look from Sasha for the lesson to be understood. She commanded respect without ever needing to be harsh.

Even after everything this sweet girl had experienced before coming to us, Sasha remained one of the most beautiful, loving, and completely cuddly souls. She had a way of sharing her love and her very soul simply by looking into your eyes. There was something incredibly special about her presence—something you felt more than you could ever put into words.

At 14 years old, Sasha was considered extremely elderly in the world of Wolfdogs. After losing our other beloved matriarch, Storm, earlier this year, Sasha had slowed down considerably. Her body was tired, and we knew her time had come.

But Sasha does not end here.

Her lessons live on. Her spirit lives on. Her love lives on—in her pack, in all of us, and in the farm she helped shape so profoundly.

She will forever be our matriarch, our teacher, our beautiful girl, and an irreplaceable part of our family.

Run free, sweet Sasha. Your pack will carry you with them always.

Happy International Wolf Day!

Diesel and Navi, both high content Wolfdogs, during play. Diesel and Navi are quickly becoming a bonded pair.

Notice how gentle Diesel is with her. She squeaks, alerting him that she’s nervous and he backs off. ADORABLE!

He’s a big boy who is new to pairings. She’s teaching him how she likes to play. Again… adorable!! 🥰 🐺🐾❤️

We are SO EXCITED! 🐺♥️🐾

We are now offering handmade wolf fur with crystals and a small dried red rose, charms! 💎

These wolf fur, crystal jars are perfect as a pendant, keychain or as rearview mirror decor!

Some commonly attributed symbolic wolf fur meanings include:

🐺 Protection: In some traditions, wolf fur is believed to offer spiritual protection from negative influences or harmful energies.

🐺 Strength and resilience: Wolves are admired for their endurance, courage, and ability to survive harsh conditions. Wolf fur may symbolize drawing on those qualities.

🐺 Intuition and instinct: Wolves rely heavily on their senses and social intelligence. Spiritually, wolf fur is sometimes associated with trusting your inner guidance.

🐺 Freedom and independence: Because wolves roam vast territories, they can represent personal freedom, self-reliance, and forging one’s own path.

🐺 Loyalty and family: Wolves live in cooperative family groups, so their fur may also symbolize devotion, community, and responsibility to loved ones.

🐺 Connection to nature: Some people use ethically sourced wolf fur in spiritual practices as a reminder of their relationship with the natural world and wild places.

🌹 Roses: The rose, especially the red rose, is the universal symbol of deep love, passion, and desire. In many religious traditions, roses symbolize divine love, purity, and spiritual enlightenment.

💎 Crystals: Crystals have held symbolic significance in many cultures, religions, and spiritual traditions. Our jars include but are not limited to Clear or Pink Quartz, Amethyst, Citrine, Black Tourmaline, Selenite, Tiger’s Eye, Cat’s Eye, Lapis Lazuli, Obsidian among others.
