What do you get when you combine amazing people, social dogs, a beautiful evening, and a giant fenced yard?

THIS! This fun play date is everything to our dogs!

This is what rescue is all about—helping dogs grow into the best versions of themselves through enrichment, adventure, socialization, and new learning opportunities. Every outing, every new person they meet, and every positive experience helps build their confidence and prepares them for their future families.

None of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers. A huge thank you to the Machos family for hosting this playdate (and hopefully many more Waggin’ Wednesdays to come!) and to volunteers like Carina, who joined the fun to help our dogs practice meeting new people and making new friends.

Our volunteers would do anything to help these dogs succeed, and we’re so grateful for every person who gives their time, love, and energy to our mission.

🚐❤️ WE DID IT! ❤️🚐

Second Chance Ranch Rescue is thrilled to announce the newest addition to our rescue family — a 2022 Ford Transit Van! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters at LaBelle Winery, we raised an astounding $20,000 in UNDER 10 MINUTES from just 19 donors. We are still speechless.

This van will help us transport animals safely, move supplies, support events, and continue saying "yes" to animals in need.

A very special thank you to Kim Haulk, whose vision for this Van Fundraiser became a reality. Your passion, determination, and belief in our mission made this moment possible.

Thank you to Laura, Carina, and Cam for helping us find the perfect van. Your time, effort, and expertise helped ensure we found exactly what our rescue needed.

And to our incredible on-site team—thank you for your patience, flexibility, and support throughout the entire transition process. Teamwork truly makes the dream work.

Finally, thank you to each of the 19 donors who stepped up in a huge way. Your generosity will directly impact countless animals who will now receive the care, transportation, and second chances they deserve.

This van isn't just a vehicle—it's hope on wheels. 🐾❤️

Have you seen our sweet girl Reece!

Reece is a beautiful 3yo mixed breed looking for her forever family. If we had to guess her breeds, we'd say she has a perfect mix of cattle dog/ herding breeds in her that give her a fun, sweet, and big personality.

Reece absolutely loves to play and run, especially with her type of dog friends. While she can be selective about the dogs she bonds with, when she finds a good match, her playful and energetic side really comes alive.
