This young male has found his way to a local farm who cannot keep him. He seems to have been on his own for a while, but please share in case there is an owner and he roamed away. It is imperative we find him a home ASAP as he does have a prey drive towards farm animals. He would not work in a home with poultry or small farm animals. That doesn’t make him a bad boy, he just doesn’t know better and needs a home without that temptation.

They gave us the following info:

He is an energetic, happy go lucky, sweet, young hound mix dog who’s always looking to please us. He gets along well with our dogs and needs devoted attention a couple times a day. (He settles down quick). We are happy to pay for his vaccines and neutering.

Is there anyone out there willing to give him a home?

We are trying to coordinate helping someone in Midway (between New Blaine and Paris) spay/neuter a group of semi-feral cats they are caring for. They do not have transportation to Morrilton, which is where the cats need to be vetted.

We need a volunteer who will pick the cats up one morning, drop at the vet in Morrilton, then return them to Midway that afternoon around 4-5 pm. Or two volunteers- one for the morning and one for the evening.

Please help! We are running thin between work and the rescue. We honestly don’t have enough hours in the day already. Appointments have not been scheduled yet, we can work around your schedule if you are kind enough to transport.

I know this is a very, very long shot but I’m going to try! This beautiful, sweet little set of 3 siblings will be going to the vet in the next couple of weeks and after they recover they will be ready for their home and I am really hoping someone would want all three. This is Eric, Ray and Savanna. They are very close and as siblings, actually love each other. We would do $100 for the adoption fee for all 3 if they stay together! I’m starting this now in hopes someone will fall in love with them before they’re vetting! I would keep them if I could!

Thank you so very much to our friends at Furget me not for giving us this big batch of cat litter!!! It was like Christmas bringing this load to the Haven! Nothing helps the animals more than when we all help each other help them!!

Welcome this sweet family to the Haven! The poor momma cat was brought to us with her 6-7 month old teenagers and she is pregnant again, which is sad but this will be her last litter and her kids were vetted yesterday! They have settled in and are happy as can be!
