Triple post because today was just so fulfilling 💛

Had a follow up lesson with Cash and Penny! Their family has such a great relationship with them and they work hard on keeping up their training.

It’s always nice to catch back up though and love on them.

He’s such a fun and silly little guy. He was so excited to love on his family.

Crazy Akira girl graduated today!!

She’s such a big goofy girl and was so excited to see her family.

Her owner worked hard on how to continue to build their bond, work through her over excitement and how to build on her training.

Akira was a silly happy girl but settled into the send home lesson after lots of love haha

Yall know I love me a good confidence glow up!

Miss Piper graduated her training this evening!

4 weeks of confidence building, earning trust and setting boundaries got us here.

Piper struggled with anxiety, fear and resource guarding and I truly believe it was all tied together.

Finding the source behind WHY a dog is acting the way they are is huge. We aren’t ones who just puts tools on a dog immediately and corrects a bad behavior. Building Piper’s confidence, showing her how to act when approached with things and that were not just going to take things from her, teaching her how to drop and leave high value items were all very important to the end goal.

I am so proud of how far she came in a short time.

She’s so much happier, confident and her family can safely go about life with their sweet girl and have to tools to be successful 🤍🤎

Took advantage of the break in rain while we had it 🤎🤍🖤

Big focus for all the younger pups this week is duration to commands, calm interactions and recall!

For miss Piper we’ve been focused a lot on her resource guarding. She is still a pretty anxious girl so I’ve been simply letting her exist and trying to work through things in the moment as they happen. She’s not one that has caught onto my “set up’s” to work on it.

She’s so much more confident now though! She isn’t afraid of storms anymore either! Which is awesome to see.

Snuck in some Lowe’s and tractor supply time this afternoon right before the storm ⛈️ Butch and Akira have one more week...
