A-Line ACDs ventured all the way up to Union Maine to show this weekend, and the dogs proved it was worth it!
On Saturday, Tag was Select Dog, Singe (Tags son who we co-own with his other Breeder Kelly McNiff) was Best of Winners for a 5 point major, and Lin (A-Line’s What Is A Legacy?) was Best Puppy and went on place 4th in puppy group!
On Sunday Tag went Best of Breed, Singe again went BOW for a 4 pt major, and Lin (on her second day ever in the show ring) went WB and Best of Opp for a 4 point major.
Singe is now a Champion 🙂
Could not be prouder of all the baby dogs and how they handled everything!
Having all the dogs out meant it took a group effort - I would never be able to do this without Tony Raposo and Andrea Roy who are the best dog show support team ever created! And to everyone who helped ringside, thank you too!
Blessed is an understatement! These dogs amaze me everytime we step into a show ring

Today, we were on the receiving end of some sad news, and we were reminded that breeding dogs is never as simple or straightforward as it seems.
Sadly, upon ultrasound today, Merry is NOT pregnant. This means that we will not have puppies available anytime in the next few months. This is sad news after months of planning - weeks of checking progesterone numbers and coordinating semen collection and shipment with the stud dog owner who is in another state. This whole process was expensive and time consuming for everyone involved, and included FedEx deciding to delay our shipment by 12 hours for no apparent reason. I am so incredibly grateful for everyone’s effort to try to make this breeding happen.
In six months, we will try again. However, for anyone who thinks this is about the money, please realize, this all costs way more than we ever make 😢

After a very busy two show day in Cumberland Maine, Tipsy is very proud to tell everyone she is now a Champion! She is officially CH A-Line’s Another Shot Of Whiskey! Thank you as always to Tony Raposo, I can’t imagine doing this without him ❤️ Go Team Blue! It was so much fun helping with the chow puppies today!

Hello A-Line Family,

I am reaching out here, seeing if there might be any interest among this community first.

The blue female in this picture is Rogue. She is the Mom of the younger Hamilton litter. She will be 4 in July. She is going to be retired from the program, and I would love to find her the right home. She is, however, a unique individual.

She is people selective, and can be reactive behind the door of a crate. She is also protective when loose in her space. This being said, she is a very stereo-typical ACD with that type of personality. She has a GREAT work ethic, and loves anything that lets her play or work her brain. She has been doing agility work with me for 2 years, and except for teeter and weaves - is confident in the other obstacles. She would be an amazing sport dog and is easy to be around with her people.

She absolutely HAS TO HAVE a confident handler, who isn't afraid to tell her no and establish boundaries. This is what makes her a more difficult placement.

She does great with other dogs, and will mostly ignore them unless they get in her face.

I am happy to answer any questions, so please PM me if you have any. This is about finding the RIGHT home for her.

Happy Mother’s Day!!!!
Today in Brooklyn CT, Tag went BOB and Eliza (A-Line’s Part Of The Narrative) showed she’s here to play and went Best of Opposite for a 3 point major! Her first points at just 7 months old!!!
She did Darya her mom proud today 🥰

Gretchen, A-Line’s Laser Focused went BOS today to inch that bit closer to her Championship! One more point! I’m so proud of how she handled herself given the cold and conditions ❤️ not to be outdone, Tony Raposo and Tag went BOB looking like they were on vacation!
Thank you to everyone! It takes a Village!!! Go Team Blue! And Andrea Roy for making sure I was caffeinated this morning!

Today at Royal Canin National Championship Tag - GCHB A-Line’s Laser Tag - received an AWARD OF MERIT - from Mr Tom Davies piloted by the amazing Tony Raposo!!!!
I cannot be more proud of how Tag handled his first time out at a show like this, proving that A-Line is here to stay 🥰 I am so excited to see what our future holds
This could not have been possible without Tony, and the words THANK YOU, are never enough.
Robin Norton is the best travel buddy and support system I could ever ask for!!!
And to everyone at home, it takes a Village, thank you for making it possible for me to be gone for a week!
There WILL be a fancy picture coming, but for now, you will have to settle for this one!
