Last week, we put out a call for canned food for our pups—and wow, did you show up!
The response was incredible. We received so many donations from generous supporters who care deeply about the dogs in our shelter. Seeing our community come together so quickly and wholeheartedly means the world to us.
Thank you to everyone who donated, shared our request, and helped spread the word. Your kindness and support make a real difference, and we couldn’t do this without you.

Marcus doesn’t know what 6-7 means...
But he knows he’s waited long enough.
He knows people are pretty great.
He knows walks are always a good idea.
He knows a soft bed beats a kennel.
And he knows he’s ready for a family of his own.
At 4 years old and 45 pounds, Marcus is a sweet, affectionate hound mix who has worked hard to build his confidence. Now he’s ready for the part he’s been waiting for—the day someone chooses him.
#67 is ready to head home. ❤️

Lou is a 4-year-old Redbone Coonhound with a sweet, gentle personality and wonderful house manners. She loves her walks, is nonreactive on leash, and makes an excellent car-riding companion.
Lou forms strong bonds with her people and would thrive in a calm, single-person home where she can enjoy the stability, companionship, and love she deserves. While she has done well with calm dogs, she’d also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only.
We’re looking for either a foster or adopter who can give Lou the peaceful home she needs to shine. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and best friend, Lou would love to meet you.
