Imagine being a tiny puppy with nowhere to go. ๐ Now imagine being the person who gives that puppy a safe place to sleep, a full belly, lots of love, and a chance at a happy life. ๐ก๐

Our rescue needs more loving foster homes so we can save more puppies in need. We can't save them without YOU! ๐ฅน๐

๐พ ๐ WHAT DOES FOSTERING MEAN? When puppies come into our rescue, they often need time to decompress, receive vet care, get healthy, and prepare for adoption. Foster families open their homes and hearts to care for them until they're ready to find their forever families.
๐พ ๐ HOW LONG WILL I HAVE MY FOSTER PUP? Typically, anywhere from 1โ4 weeks, depending on the puppy's needs. Only able to foster short-term? That's okay! Let us know, and we'll do our best to match you with a short-term placement.
๐พ ๐ WHAT IF I GO ON VACATION? Life happens! We have an amazing foster network and can often help arrange a foster babysitter while you're away. Some fosters even bring their pups along on their adventures! ๐ถ๐
๐พ ๐ WHAT WILL I NEED TO DO? You'll provide daily care, including feeding, cleaning, giving medications if needed, and, of course, LOTS of snuggles! ๐ฅฐ We ask fosters to help with transportation to vet appointments and adoption events when possible, and to take cute photos to help their pups find forever homes. Our rescue handles the adoption process!
๐พ ๐ DO I HAVE TO FOSTER MORE THAN ONE PUPPY? Puppies under 12 weeks old who have siblings generally need to be fostered in pairs or groups. This helps with socialization and development, and they keep each other company, too! ๐พ๐พ If you'd prefer to foster just one puppy, older pups may be a great fit.
๐พ ๐ WHAT IF I FALL IN LOVE AND WANT TO KEEP MY FOSTER? We call that a foster fail โ and we LOVE a happy ending! ๐๐ Foster families get first choice to adopt their foster puppy, provided everything is going well and the adoption is approved.
๐พ ๐ HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? $0! ๐ The rescue provides the necessary supplies and covers veterinary care through our vet clinics. You provide the love, care, and a safe place to land. โค๏ธ
๐พ ๐ WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS? โ
All resident pets must be up to date on basic veterinary care and spayed/neutered. โ
You must be permitted to have animals where you live. โ
You must live within approximately an hour of New Baltimore, Michigan.
