This was one of the first pet drawings I ever did. My dog Winnie. She’s a golden doodle.

I got my start drawing dog portraits originally by drawing human caricatures first. I did that for a local art fair and somehow started drawing dog caricatures. I liked it so much I invested more time into it and eventually got a lot better!

Spend some time with Ben, you'll be glad you did. He bonds quickly. LOVES giving hugs. LOVES getting hugs. He is soulful, it's something special about him. Looks you in the eyes and asks for affection. He's gotten a bad break. Heartworm. It's transmitted by mosquitoes. THE RESCUE PAYS FOR HIS MEDICAL EXPENSES while he is in foster care. Recovery from the heartworm treatment requires the dog to be kept calm and relaxed for a couple of months, and that can't be accomplished at the kennel. This dog is something else. Meet him.
