Floyd County Animal Rescue League

Floyd County Animal Rescue League We are a nonprofit animal welfare organization dedicated to helping the animals of Floyd County, Indiana.

We work to reduce the number of homeless animals in our community through spaying & neutering programs which includes a Trap, Neuter, Return program for community cats. Medical vouchers are available to low income Floyd County, IN residents to help get their companion animal to the vet for an urgent medical issue. FCARL also provides adoption and medical support for the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter.

Dawson is a 2-year-old male tabby who has been patiently waiting for his forever home at Feeders Pet Supply on State St, New Albany.

Dawson is a chill and independent little dude. He appreciates having his space but will always be the friend that comes and greets you with a gently meow.

He would likely do best with older, respectful kids and someone who understands that not every cat shows affection by sitting in your lap. He may also be a good candidate for an indoor/outdoor lifestyle with a safe area to explore.

Dawsonโ€™s biggest joy in life is food and his heart may very well be accessible through his stomach! So as we head into the cooler months, if youโ€™re looking for a buddy to sit on the sofa with, watch holiday movies and eat snacks, definitely snacks, then Dawson might be your guy!

Dawson doesnโ€™t need to be the center of attention. He just needs someone to see him for the super cool cat he is and give him the chance heโ€™s been waiting for.

Please share Dawson. His person is out there, we just need to help them find each other.

Dawson is available for adoption via the New Albany Animal Shelter . His adoption fee is $20 and he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and FIV/Felv tested negative.

๐Ÿพ Save the Date: Give for Good Louisville!

Something GOOD is happening this September!

On Thursday, September 10, Floyd County Animal Rescue League will be participating in Give for Good Louisville, a community-wide day of giving that brings people together to support the causes they care about. And we're asking you to make FCARL one of yours.

Every day, animals in our community need someone willing to say YES to medical care, spay/neuter, TNR, microchipping, and so much more.

Because they need us. And we need you. ๐Ÿพ

๐Ÿ“… SAVE THE DATE: September 10
๐Ÿ’š Early Giving begins September 7 at midnight!

Mark your calendar, set a reminder, and get ready to Give for Good for the animals of our community.
