Coral Spotlight Feature: Nauti Spiral Montipora (Monitpora sp). The first image is of the mother colony in our 235 tank. We currently have a large frag of this Monti in our WYSIWYG section on our website. Nauti Spiral is an SPS coral that requires moderate to high light and moderate to strong flow, with turbulent multi-directional flow being the ideal.

We are showcasing the mother colonies in these spotlight posts as a reminder that we grow and raise nearly all of our corals from a few mother colonies. This method is sustainable, reliable, and results in extremely healthy and disease-free corals. Frag shops bring in wild corals, cut them up, and attach them to plugs to resell. We pride ourselves in providing captive raised corals as an alternative to imported wild specimens.
