Meet Po, a sweet senior gentleman who is hoping to find his forever home again! ❤️

Po was adopted in 2025, but after his beloved owner sadly passed away, he found himself back at the shelter through no fault of his own. Now, this staff favorite is waiting for someone to give him another chance at a happy ending. 🥺

Po is a gentle soul who loves pets, sitting in your lap, and enjoying the quieter things in life. The shelter can be loud and overwhelming for this nervous guy, but give him a little patience and a calm place to settle in, and you'll discover just how sweet he truly is. We would love to see Po spending his golden years curled up beside someone who loves him as much as he'll love them! 🏡💕

And there’s no better time to meet your new best friend! 🎉 BISSELL Pet Foundation and Cathy Bissell’s Empty the Shelters reduced-fee adoption event is happening NOW through November 2nd at the New Albany Animal Shelter! BISSELL is helping us get more animals into loving homes, and Po is hoping this is finally his time to find his second chance. 💙

ANOTHER ADOPTION IN THE BOOKS!

Rishon has found his forever home! 🏡🐱

Two smiling faces, one very lucky kitty, and a whole lot of love! We are so happy to see Rishon heading home with his new family, ready to start his next chapter filled with cuddles, playtime, and making wonderful memories together. 🥰

A huge thank you to Rishon’s new family for opening their hearts and home to a shelter pet, and to Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters event for helping make adoptions like this possible!

We wish Rishon and his family a lifetime of love, happiness, and purrs. Happy Tails, Rishon! ❤️🐾
