Can you believe it's already been a whole year since Dr. Boron joined our team?! We truly are so lucky to have her. Join us in wishing Dr. Boron a happy 1 year anniversary! 🎉

Pet parents, we have some very exciting news!

We are adding a FOURTH veterinarian to our all-star team of caring providers.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Jen Boron to the Willow Wood team! She brings with her 16 years of veterinary experience, and a passion for wellness care, internal medicine, and surgery. She loves treating both canine and feline patients, and can't pick a favorite!

When she’s not helping pets feel their best, Dr. Boron enjoys crafting, spending time with her family, DIY home projects, and soaking up the sun on the beach in Michigan. She’s also a fan of office supplies like pens, Post-it notes, and just might be your go-to if you ever need a highlighter.

Dr. Boron lives in Hilliard with her husband, two kids, and her pittie mix, Jack, who became a permanent family member after she treated his fractured leg as a puppy. (He came home for the weekend and never left!)

We can’t wait for you and your pets to meet her—help us give a warm Willow Wood welcome to Dr. Boron!

We captured some party animals under our microscope this week. Guess what they are?

Ear Mites!!

While they may be really good dancers, ear mites are super annoying for pets.
These obnoxious little parasites commonly affect cats, but dogs can get them too.

Signs can include:
• Frequent scratching or head shaking
• Dark, coffee-ground-like debris in the ears
• Redness or irritation
• Sensitive or painful ears

Fortunately, ear mites are very treatable with the right medication! If you think there might be a dance party starting up in your pet's ears, let us know. We can get it shut down in no time! 😎🪩

Bentley didn't have to come by himself for his appointment! His sister, Scarlett, joined him to make sure he felt brave and supported. She checked on him after his exam and even made sure he got the first treats before taking any for herself. 💕
We love seeing such a sweet, bonded sibling pair!
