Nevada Missouri Animal Shelter The Nevada Animal Shelter is the local city shelter. We take in animals from the City of Nevada and try to find their people or find them new homes.

The Nevada Animal Shelter is a place for the lost or surrendered pets of The City of Nevada, to find warmth, food, fresh water, love and attention. All age-appropriate animals adopted out from the shelter will be spayed or neutered, have had age appropriate vaccines, have had parasite prevention, & will be microchipped. We try to keep an updated Adoptable Pets Album with our most current pets. So,

make sure to check it out! If you have an animal call contact dispatch at 417-448-2710 and they will call out our Animal Control Officer or a Police Officer. Nevada Animal Shelter

We are currently housing OVER 70 animals in the shelter. 🫠🤪
Our kennels are full, and these sweet dogs and cats deserve the chance to leave the shelter and spend the rest of summer lounging on a couch, playing in a yard, and being loved by their very own people. 🏡🐶🐱
