Calling a trainer ✔️
Meeting for a consult to make sure their training aligns with what you want with your K9 companion ✔️

Homework, report with recap and support ongoing ✔️

B.B. K9 School is proud of the progress this owner and her K9 companion achieved! This happy guy was pulling on a leash, barking at everyone going by from inside, lunging at dogs, people and inappropriate reactions. We dug deep, looked at the whole picture and worked on his mindset. Why is he reacting this way and how can we help him feel safe?
We did just that...worked on giving him leadership from his handler, gained connection and focus on his handler, learned how to heel when needed and sniff when stressed. Load up to feel safe along with middle in case there wasn't a load up option. His owner was eager to learn, consistant with applying what she had learned and reaching out for updates and adjustments to the training plan. Trusting the process for behaviors that didn't happen overnight!
Just look at that focus🥰
Now his owner knows how to advocate for him. What stress signals to watch for and how to control the interactions for her dog to be successful!!!!

This little video is just the beginning of a long time partnership that means a lot!
One of the reasons I had become a trainer alongside a co-worker was to help our community with owner surrenders due to no training options in our area. This was over 20 years ago...
Fast forward to a lot of changes and people who care in our local Nevada Missouri Animal Shelter along with life changes for Jeanne Buehler retiring from veterinary care and into owning B.B. K9 School LLC .

Evaluations, employee training, working with the shelter dogs that are struggling and helping employees see how to help the dogs with small tasks every day, is such an honor and blessing.

I look forward to building training options, fun outings, confidence in the dogs, volunteer help, learning personalities, and pairing them with the right families so they get their forever home, and more🎉
