We’re excited to announce that Sit Means Sit MidSouth is becoming Elite Canine Services!

While our name and branding are changing, our commitment to our clients and their dogs remains the same.

You’ll continue working with the same team you know and trust, with the same dedication to professional dog training, behavior modification, and helping owners build better relationships with their dogs.

We want to welcome Kova to our 2-week Board & Train program!

Today is actually Day 3 of her training. Kova is a very anxious dog, so I spent the first couple of days building trust and allowing her to get comfortable with me before asking too much of her.

Now that she’s settling in, her training has really taken off. She’s beginning to understand what’s being asked of her and is making great progress already.

Kova’s biggest challenges are pulling on the leash and reacting to other dogs while on walks. We’ve already started working on both, and she’s showing encouraging improvements.

We’re excited to continue building her confidence and can’t wait to show everyone how far she comes over the next couple of weeks!

Koda heading home from his boarding. One thing we do differently with boarding is we don't leave dogs in kennels all day and evening. We bring them inside around our family and our dogs, we walk them twice a day, and basically treat them like our own pets. If they are friendly, we put them in small play groups. That being said, our boarding is typically reserved for client dogs or non-aggressive dogs.
