Shared from Resthaven Horse Rescue post April 6th 2017 memories (thanks for sharing this Kathy Peterson). This was a conservative first trim on a hoof on one of the Mustang mares that were taken into their rescue. Even though the hoof was long, it trimmed up nicely to reveal a beautiful hoof!

Good to see natural bare hooves making it to the top levels of competition!

When Swedish riders took individual silver at the Olympics, some people said they would have won if they had been shod.

Then when they took took team gold… some said it was only achievable because it was on a surface.

Horses have been out competing at the 1.50m courses and winning … people still said they couldn’t make the big heights barefoot.

I’m not sure if anyone can take away Mr Blue Skys puissance achievement of 2.15m …

I mean … we all knew his feet weren’t going to fall off with out steel nailed to them right 🤷🏻‍♀️😂❤️
