✨ 2025 Prairie Rider Fun Show ✨
What. A. Weekend. ❤️ Our crew showed up and showed out at the 2025 Prairie Rider Fun Show in Neosho, MO — and I couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them!
First off, a huge shoutout to Kelly Shilling for putting on another incredible event. She pours her heart into these shows year after year, and we owe her more than we could ever repay. 💛
Now for our amazing team…
🐴 Miss Rylee – Competing in the 7 & Under Walk-Trot on Chicken for her very first show! She was all smiles, kind to her horse, focused, and absolutely shined. She walked away with the High Point Buckle in her division — her very first buckle!
🐴 Thea – Her first show with Dreamer and Duke and she did so well! She placed beautifully throughout the day and her excitement was contagious. She was also recognized with the Sportsmanship Award for the weekend!
🐴 Kenna – This girl has overcome so much lately. Instead of showing her steady old Max, she lent him to a teammate and took her young horse Monty. She’s worked endlessly to build that bond and it truly showed. She earned the High Point Buckle in the 8–12 Walk-Trot division — her first buckle with Monty!
🐴 Tinley – Absolutely phenomenal. She’s been riding both her horse and Commander for months leading up to the show and handled it all with grace and grit. She is so talented, kind, and determined — her place is most definitely on a horse!
🐴 Bri – No matter which horse she was on, her smile never left. Her joy and gratitude were contagious, and she spent the entire weekend cheering others on and spreading encouragement. She took home Reserve High Point in her age division, 8-12!!
🐴 Eastton - Calm, collected and confident in his own quiet way! He is such a talented horseman, even at his age!
🐴 Ivette – What a weekend for her! Friday night she and Georgia ran beautifully and took home the Barrel Saddle. Saturday, she rode Max and didn’t miss a beat — stunning patterns, kindness toward her horse, and even jumped into English classes like a pro, taking home the English Saddle too!
🐴 Harmony – One of the most generous, uplifting riders around. She lent out her horses to whoever needed them and still brought home the High Point Buckle in her 8–12 division! She even won the raffle saddle but, having also won last year, told them to draw again so someone else could have the chance. That’s the kind of heart she has.
🐴 Natilie - Competing in the 13–19 division with her young horse Titan. She has brought him up from the ground herself and showed him beautifully in both western and english classes. The bond and trust they’ve built are incredible — she’s one to watch!
🐴 Cayden – New to riding but you’d never know it! He handled Rerun with such grace, calmness, and confidence. We’re thrilled to have him as part of our team and can’t wait to see him continue to grow.
🐴 Laura – Also newer to riding and had the courage to step into the show ring for the first time. Watching her and Rerun together — the joy, connection, and confidence — was truly inspiring!
🐴 Brandy – It was so special seeing her and her daughter Bri cheering each other on throughout the weekend. Their shared love for horses is beautiful to witness.
🐴 Marie – What a light she is. Kind to everyone, always willing to help, and her generosity shone all weekend long. Her bond with Phenix was breathtaking — every ride was full of heart and partnership. She’s grown into such an incredible horsewoman, and we’re all so proud of her.
And of course, thank you to Joey for coming out to tack on Chicken’s shoe right before the show — tired and still showed up for us. We appreciate you more than you know! 🙌
💚And to Meagan, our amazing equine chiropractor, who made sure every horse felt their best leading up to this weekend — we are so grateful for you!
More than the ribbons, buckles, and saddles, what fills my heart is the way everyone supported one another — the encouragement, the laughter, the teamwork, and the kindness that flowed all weekend long. That’s what truly matters. 💫
I’m beyond proud and endlessly thankful for every rider, parent, helper, and horse that makes our little Legacy family what it is. Feeling so blessed. ❤️w
