Attention:
Tuesday this week at Jerry Finch Dog Park, several dogs were playing and running around.

Someone saw a white, Jack Russell mix (maybe) bit at a red heeler, during this play. This seemed to be all in excited play. Upon checking the red heeler when they got home later, puncture wounds were found.

We are looking for information on the white little dog to verify rabies and such. If anyone has any information on the owners please PRIVATE message this page.

Recently we have heard of some incidents at the area dog parks in the valley. As a reminder, please follow the dog park rules.

UPDATE at the park:

You may see poles off to the side in the parking lot. Those are for LIGHTS in the parking lot as well as out in the park.

Rules signage is up and trail signage has been updated.

Trails through the wooded area are still being worked on. The fire department was going to help us out and that fell through. The parks department is working on it yet.
