✨No BINGO at Bayside Tomorrow✨

We are so sorry to cancel on everyone. However, we have had to make the appointment for Cosmo’s euthanasia and it happens to coincide with the BINGO date. 10-26-2026.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience but our big guy’s health and wellness (which sadly includes this end of life decision.) is our priority. We regret to inform everyone of this news. We are all struggling to come to terms with it ourselves.

We know many of you were hoping to attend the COSTUME BINGO as this was a special event, and we know many of you are hoping to see who wins the prize drawings for TLAER donations. However we will have to postpone them for a short time while we navigate the planning process and our grief.

We know our socials have been quiet lately, but our team is navigating some very important things behind the scenes. Preparing for winter, caring for Cosmo in his end of life planning and continuing to ensure every animal is receiving the standard of care we pride ourselves on is taking a lot of our focus.

We appreciate your continued support and love, especially during these harder times, as we move forward with Cosmo’s end of life planning.

✨Introducing Lilly!✨

Over the last few months we have been putting together a brand new sponsorship program. And we are excited to introduce our brand new sponsorship coordinator, Lilly! Lilly has worked with The Good Shepherd for the last year and has developed a close bond with the residents. She loves Photography and is very excited to put together a new sponsorship program that will help our residents personalities shine. Over the next six months those who hold active sponsorships or are coming up for renewal will be contacted by Lilly. You may see a new email address, [email protected] That is Lilly! She can’t wait to meet all of you and give you the best experience possible to connect with our mission!

🧡We’re POOPED!🧡

But our hearts are so so full. We made $935 in donations today, thanks to the 184 visitors, supporters and friends who showed up to support the animals!

First of all, thank you to our sponsors. Anytime Fitness Waterville, Pondview Vet Clinic, Neapolis Market and Anthony Wayne Community Chiropractic for their support to make this day enjoyable to the kids.

Thank you to Lindsay for volunteering to Face Paint. It couldn’t have been a better surprise to have you offer. The kids LOVED IT! To Varsana for manning Kids Zone last minute, and to Anne for working our ADA Shuttle! People complimented your friendly nature! Thank you Jared for helping relieve our volunteers during breaks even though you were just here to hang out. To Tony and Leigh for their continued dedication over the years, Tony- being lord of the yellow jackets is a hard job and you handled it with grace. And to Marian, Karam, Nova & Becky, Paige, Angie, Jonah, Mahlea, and most of all, Janice. Janice won’t see this, but she’s poured two days of back breaking work into this organization. She showed up for setup on Friday, came Saturday early for setup, worked all day and stayed late to break down. She’s my hero right now. Thank you Jase and Hudson for helping in every way even when I’m stressed and crabby, to Patty (Mom) and Abbi for the food, and the amazing door prizes. I couldn’t be more grateful. This list is not in any order, simply as it comes to mind during my mental replay of events. So many people LOVED the food. It takes a BIG team and this team shines bright!

Thank you to the Vendors who made a priority to show up, Nicole, Karen, Joci and Abbi!

Most of all, Thank You to EVERY SINGLE VISITOR that came, ate and supported our Sanctuary. We love connecting with you all, sharing the stories of our residents and showing what compassion is all about.
