Dear end user,

We have identified heavy-duty replacement filters in the field that are not authorized by Electric Cleaner Company (ECC).

Our findings:

The grooves do not line up properly with the lid. Because the filter does not compress correctly, gaps remain. Sound escapes through those gaps, and air can bypass the filter. Unfiltered air can reach the muffler (if equipped) and the internal motors, which shortens the dryer’s lifespan.
These unauthorized filters have about 10% more pleats than the genuine heavy-duty filter. The extra pleats restrict airflow, which can create an airflow problem and raise overall air temperature.
Electric Cleaner Company will not warranty dryers fitted with unauthorized replacement parts.

Please use only ECC-authorized filters.

People are asking about maintaining the Jirpet Twin Titan dryer. Here is a video someone has put out on how to change out the carbon brushes in each motor.
