✨🌙 ACOTAR LITTER🌙✨

🐾 THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER! 🐾

We’re at the vet with the kittens right now! 🩺❤️ They’re getting their exams and final health checks, and assuming everyone gets the perfect bill of health we’re expecting, we’ll be finalizing our kitten-to-family matches tonight! 🥹
We have received an incredible amount of interest in this litter, and we actually have more wonderful families hoping for a kitten than we have kittens available. While that makes our job a little harder, it’s also an amazing position to be in because it allows us to be very intentional about finding the best possible match for each kitten.
Our selections are not first-come, first-served. We look at each family’s questionnaire, lifestyle, household, and what we’ve learned about each kitten’s individual personality to determine where we feel they will thrive.
That also means some families may not be matched with a kitten from this litter and may instead be offered a place on the waitlist for our next litter.
We know everyone is anxious, excited, and probably checking their phones tonight 😂❤️ We appreciate your patience while we do what we feel is best for these babies.
Tonight, we match families. Tomorrow, the next chapter begins. 🐾💕

✨🌙 ACOTAR LITTER🌙✨

📸 A little weight-check photo session! 🐾
I was taking everyone’s weights today and, of course, I couldn’t resist snapping a few updated pictures while I had them in front of me. 😻
These babies have been growing like weeds, and tomorrow is the day we’ve been waiting for…
✨ The kittens will officially become available! ✨
So here’s a little sneak peek at how everyone is looking before the big day. 🥹💕
P.S. Before anyone asks… 🤣 The brown stuff on the side of the dish is fish paste! It’s our little distraction technique to keep the kittens occupied while I get their weights. I swear it’s NOT p**p! 🤣🤣💕

✨🌙 ACOTAR LITTER 🌙✨

Want to know what well-socialized kittens look like? Turn the vacuum on. 😂

One baby is literally sleeping through it, while the other is wide awake and completely unbothered. 🤣👏

We say it all the time, but this is what we mean when we say our kittens are raised in our home and exposed to everyday life. Vacuums, cleaning, household noises, people coming and going — these babies experience the real world with us every single day. 🏡🐾
Today was a full nursery-cleaning day — everything gets pulled out, cleaned, sanitized, and put back together. So yes… you’ll see a mess in the video. 🤣
No perfectly staged nursery over here today! Just a real human, doing real chores, while raising some pretty confident little Maine C**ns. ❤️
And apparently, the vacuum is no reason to interrupt nap time. 😴😂

And now we can tell you why! 🥹❤️

All three of Freydis’ babies from Theater Litter have officially made it to their new families! 🎭🐾
These sweet babies have begun settling into their new furever lives with their very best families, and we couldn’t be happier for them. ❤️
Watching them grow from tiny babies into confident little cats ready to start this next chapter has been so special.
Freydis is getting some extra loves these last few days because her babies are officially all grown up and off to their new homes. 🥹🐾❤️
Happy beginnings, sweet babies! 🏡✨

Exposure Therapy 🧹🐾
Do your cats or kittens run and hide when you pull out the vacuum?!
Not ours! ❤️
From the very beginning, our kittens are exposed to everyday household sounds and experiences—including the vacuum. In this video, you’ll see Freydis, Diva, and the entire ACOTAR litter hanging out while I vacuum all around them. No one is running or hiding… and our newly graduated Diva even seems more interested in playing with the vacuum than being afraid of it! 😂
This is just one small part of how we help our kittens grow into confident, well-adjusted cats who are comfortable with the everyday sounds and experiences of their new homes.
We don’t just raise kittens—we prepare them for life beyond our cattery. 🐾❤️
