⭐️ MEET OUR KENNEL STAFF ⭐️

🐾 Rayna Powell 🐾

Rayna grew up in Natural Bridge. She attended Rockbridge County High School, where she graduated a year early. She has always had a passion for animals and knew from an early age that she wanted a career working with them. She enjoys having the opportunity to learn new things and gain new experiences along the way!

Rayna also works at Natural Bridge State Park as a Contact Ranger. She enjoys playing games, going on rides, shopping, crafts, and finding new places to explore. She loves going on adventures with her cat, Sunny Patch. She also enjoys spending time at home with her two kittens, Diesel and Wren, and her family dog Mugsy!

Rayna is a huge asset to our team! ❤️

⭐️MEET OUR KENNEL STAFF⭐️

🐾 Brenda Ratcliff 🐾

Dr. Brenda Ratcliff is a retired neuropsychologist who has always spent any free time in the company of animals. She was first on horseback at six months of age and grew up raising cattle, hogs and chickens on the family farm. Dr. Ratcliff and her family raised, trained and competed Arabian endurance horses all over the U.S. and in several Pan American Games. She has been a member of the Rockbridge Hunt for almost 40 years and knows Rockbridge County and its people well.

Dr. Ratcliff has always had plenty of Jack Russell Terriers and Siamese cats and has lately taken to adopting elderly rescue cats. In addition to enjoying spending a little of her retirement time with the animals at Natural Bridge Animal Hospital, she especially appreciates the kind, quality care that the entire staff gives to her beloved critters.

Brenda is our veteran kennel staff member so show her some love! ❤️

Everyone knows Dr. McDermott….but what about the faces behind the scenes? 🐾

When your fur babies stay with us, there’s a whole crew working behind the scenes to make sure they’re fed, comfortable, loved on, played with & cleaned up after!

Each day we’ll introduce you to one of our kennel staff member’s because when you leave your pet with us, we know you’re leaving us family — and we think you deserve to know the people caring for them ❤️

👀 Stay tuned all next week to meet the faces behind the wagging tails, happy purrs & clean kennels!

YOUR DOG CALLED… THEY NEED A VACATION FROM YOU 🐶 🧳
Good news — we take reservations. 😉

Whether it’s for a few hours, a day, a weekend, or an extended stay, NBAH is here to help! We offer day boarding and overnight boarding, with our kennel open 7 days a week, 365 days a year — including holidays!

Want your fur babes coming home fresh & clean? Ask us about adding a Spa Day with a bath & pedi! 🛁

And those two adorable faces? Meet Sally & Victor, two of our frequent-flyer boarders! ❤️ They know the routine, they know the staff, and judging by those smiles, we think it’s safe to say they’re pretty big fans of their home away from home.

📞 For more information, pricing, or to reserve your pet’s stay, give us a call at 540-291-1444!

Because whether you’re headed to work or headed on vacation, your pets deserve a getaway too. 🐾
